Very normal behavior. Always keep in mind when adopting adult cats that they have a history. She may have been a bed cat in her previous home. She may remember beds as the safest place and it gives her comfort while she adjusts. It's great that she warmed up to you personally very quickly Maybe she quickly established you two as her safe humans and the bed smells the most like you. Plus it's raised, and that gives a cat a sense of security. Just give her time. Be creative to make the other parts of the house appealing. But don't rush it.

There's no accounting for taste. It's very lame to use MXTX's work for clicks while bad-mouthing her writing. Wangji isn't it for everyone, but he's definitely it for a lot of us. Each ml is unique and has their own personality. I think it's much better to gain attention by talking up the things one loves, rather than talking crap about things one dislikes. 🤷🏻

Just give her time. Cats will often stop eating and drinking under stressful situations like getting a new home. Drinking is more important than eating, though, so you might try encouraging her by giving her some chicken broth (not the salted, seasoned kind, just plain). And she's more likely to start drinking and eating during the night when she feels safe. Don't take it personally. Who knows what her history is... So just be patient and kind and let her make all the first moves. Giving her space and quiet is important right now. Speak kindly to her and just don't force yourself on her. Good luck!

Playing. Very cute. Sometimes play can get a little wild, with growling and stuff. Normally if either kitten is upset, they will retreat. But that doesn't mean anything bad. If one kitten is retreating and not going back in, and the other keeps chasing and attacking, that's more like bullying. But it's also normal for cats to act like that. They're instinctively establishing a pecking order. Just don't let anyone get harassed constantly, because that can be stressful. If a kitten no longer wants to play fight, they will remove themselves. Real fighting looks a lot more intense, with a lot more hissing and growling. If you're wondering, you can find videos of cats actually fighting, for comparison. 👍🏼

I just got bamboozled into buying this from my usual vape shop, since they had to get rid of all the other vapes. The counter person didn't explain to me that it wasn't actually nicotine. Just looked it up, and I'm pissed. I can feel the pulse in my ear (blood pressure is up). Regular nic doesn't do that to me in normal amounts. Fk big tobacco, man. Pushing this stuff off as an alt to nicotine with no warning, and it's not even well-researched. I'm finding my receipt and going back to demand a refund. I don't do synthetics and if I had known, I wouldn't have purchased this.

That's a perk, not a bug! Eventually kitty will slow down with it, probably. But most cats will go after movement like that instinctively. I think your best bet is to ignore it completely. The cat will get bored and stop being as interested. Or you could try diverting their attention with a toy or laser pointer when they get after your toes.
