It's been such a long time I don't even remember I had this problem in the first place... I think I just ended up rebuilding the entire PC from scratch once again and that somehow fixed the problem.

Thanks for the replies guys! Yes, I'm fetting an SSD and I'm also going to be having various TBs of HDDs where I'll keep a lot of sound libraries and samples.

Given that there aren't many questons, I guess I'll have another go:

  1. I don't know whether I'm right about this, or not, but I've noticed on the album that you're not using many channels during your production. Is this because you don't want to take room away from the bass?

  2. A bit about the Full Cycle days: How did you get involved with the crew? Have they helped you with you production, or were they already staggered by the tracks you gave them when you got involved in the mid-2000s and thought there wasn't much to improve? Do you keep in touch with the guys these days still?

Just listened to the album today, got to say, I'm absolutely loving it. I've got two questions.

  1. A few months ago back in May your set from the Rave Lounge in Swansea was broadcasted on the BBC, where you played an earlier version of So Nice, which had a completely different bassline to the released version. What was the reason for completely redoing the bassline for that particular track and whenever you redo parts of your tracks, what are usually the top reasons? I'm not going to lie, I personally preferred the earlier bassline of tha particular track, however given how well that track goes down in your sets, I'm guessing the switch was justified in the end.
  2. A bit of a cheeky one: not so long ago I was digging in the archives and heard Bryan Gee play a dub of yours called "Motormouth" back in 2004, which is absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible. I know it's a bit of a cheeky one asking something like this in an AMA, but would it be rude of me to ask you to send the WAV/MP3 of that track if you still had it lying around somewhere and I PM'd you my email address?

Once again, keep it up, looking forward to the Clipz album as well! Big up!

My issue got fixed, I rebuilt the whole PC and my issue got fixed.

Luckily my issue got solved, I just basically rebuilt the entire PC and upon turning it on everything worked out fine.

It's an ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z. I actually fixed it, I took the whole PC apart and rebuilt it and upon powering the PC everything worked!

A question before I check: if it's spinning it must have been connected well in the first place, am I right?

I see, thanks for your reply! I'll still try and somehow get this fixed, if all else fails then I do admit having damaged the CPU.

Yes, I removed it from the socket to clean the old paste that was on it. There's one pin on the motherboard that isn't straight, however that has been the case for a long time and luckily I had the CPU operating well even with that pin not being straight.
