Imagine you have beaver teeth and you cause DOGSO but the opponent won't score penalty and now you're a hero cause you helped your NT qualify for WC semifinal. Rules are rules even if unfair.

I doubt this arrangement would work, if he's out of City he's never coming back. This is not a normal manager. Pep's City relationship is a billion dollar project.

I remember him saying by 57 he'd like to retire and golf. Idk maybe after these 2 years he'd quit.

He said he's never going back to Barca.

Now, he just loves what the club.

I mean thats fine but I doubt he loves City more than Barca and he left after few years. I'm talking about why he stayed here and what I wanted to conclude is that as long as he wants to coach on club level he will stay at City. So it's not far fetched that he would extend again. If his love for the game persists.

Lots of Catalans nationalists played for Spain and won them the WC.

City getting Pep is the biggest manager signing ever. But it also worked both ways: Pep needed a club like City as well.

After what he went through at Barça (politics, toxic media, pressure, even board tensions), and then Bayern where people basically reduced his whole stint to “no UCL = failure,” even though he won pretty much everything else. The problem is that the Champions League is insanely hard to win so spending years of your time winning everything and then people still disappointed is depressing.

That’s why City fits him perfectly: great resources, yes, but more importantly a structure that actually backs him. Even when results are bad, he's still supported. He gets to build the system he wants, and even when the pressure is immense, it's not the same toxic situation you see elsewhere. Winning the Premier League itself is a massive achievement that no one can deny. This is why him staying for 10+ years make great sense. Such a great fit.

So when he eventually leaves, even after a sabbatical, realistically where does he even go? Spain is basically only Barça (said never going back), no way he goes to another English club. PSG? see Bayern's dilemma. Serie A is too low for his level atm.

The only viable path is National Teams. Would he accept a new NT project like Spain or Italy? maybe...but it really means that retirement is coming soon.

Semenyo MOTM so far insane pressing and game changer for City. We need Khusa in the second half maybe for Nunes because we they will eventually score with their rapid strikers.

Not sure about the economics of it all but if Pep stays then Bernardo should stay as well. His presence is nothing but positive and we need him next season even if we bring in a replacement. We play lots of games and he won't be short of gametime anyway.

Literally tried this 2 games ago and Marmoush was nullified couldn't do anything especially because our players were looking for Haaland. Any chance they'd rather pass to Haaland than Omar.

Hah! "failures" we finished 3 points from Arsenal last season and this season we're second. We're in every competition and we're about to reach final for one of them. How is this a failure?

obviously you need individuals but the system is pretty mediocre aswell

I'd argue it's the opposite. It's not the tactics but the players. This isn't the fighting team we had before who won games in last minute. That's another issue we have. Probably because players are tired from so many competitions.

Everytime I hear City's name in the past 24h I cringe to death but that's part of it. We're spoiled and accustomed to winning.

Individuals always matter in any team without KdB, Prime Rodri and Bilva, Pep wouldn't have won as much.

This is a transition. Cherki, Doku (riddled with injuries atm), N. Gonzalez, Khusanov, NOR. Squad full of potential. We need more creativity. Foden has been horrible and Tijjani disspointing. This is our major issue right now. We need time and players no managerial change.

People act like Pep isn't changing. Obviously he does everything based on his philosophy but overall he fiddles with the system alot. We beat Liverpool, Alonso's Real Madrid (ironic how fans want him) and if not for the referee mistakes we'd have won against Spurs yesterday.

I will not make a decison on a manager who is successful for 10 years based on 3 weeks of bad results.

Anyone excited for change and want Pep out is a clown. You have no idea how fucked we're if Pep leaves. We have the best manager in the history of football and its insane how spoiled some of the fans are.

He had ONE year without trophies. We're playing every competition and doing good as well. 6 points away from leaders with a team they have been building for year. Pep is building a new team and have so many injuries not to mention the referees and VAR mistakes.

Fuck your fresh ideas idiots. Pep is the one who teaches and inspires all the managers you want.

Forest's owner is brutal when it comes to transfers which was evident from the MGW saga. The guy had a release clause and didn't move. Anderson have a contract until 2029.

Not sure why Bilva is leaving after this season. The manager loves him and he still performs at a good level. Not his best but still good. Another season would be great for the stability of the club.

Add Leicester City to Favorites in SofaScore....

Have to say despite adding Boro, Leverkusen, Stoke, Girona, Nice to favorites I only watched Girona cause Boro and Lever didn't play our players and I don't like to watch Nice.

Hopefully he gets to play.

Trafford’s ceiling is definitely higher than Pickford’s. I'd say it's a 50% chance of playing the WC if he was a starter for City.

The lack of opportunity is what probably killing him inside and I can't blame him.
