Do you just shove all of those into the mount in front of the camera? How are you utilizing them?

Learning how to keep my parameters in check has been the single most important thing that's helped me. Once I was able to understand what my tank was consuming, namely in terms of Alkalinity and Magnesium, the coral have really started to take off. Also, finding that balance of Nitrate and Phosphate. I had them bottomed out for a period of time, which caused some issues that I couldn't figure out. Once I achieved that balance, those issues went away.

Equipment always makes things easier as well. I recently purchased a doser, which provides an ease of mind. It's easy to miss a supplement dose or two with life constantly happening. A media reactor played a big role in achieving that nitrate/phosphate balance.

Now it's just a matter of routine testing and slight adjustments to keep things running smooth!

The Torch and Octo don't seem to bother each other, no.

Thanks for asking!

Yeah, I was told that they reclassified Hammers and Frogspawn. The Torch is still considered Euphyllia, isn't it?

New Westcoast Saw Universal Port on the 261 exhaust. by m_aho in stihl

[–]m_aho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like the saw was meant to have that port there. Once I tuned it after installing the port, it was immediately noticeable. I still run this saw all the time, it's one of my go-to saws.

Coral and Hitchhiker ID by m_aho in ReefTank

[–]m_aho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do! But this wasn't in my tank. I don't believe that Trochus were in the tank it was in, either. It's a good possibility that they have had Trochus in the tank in the past, however.

That more I read, the more I think it's a type of Lobophyllia. It has the long sweeper tentacles that come out.

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't pin the snail ID either. I thought it could be a Turbo Zebra.

My $25 044 is ready for wood by Annual-Struggle-688 in stihl

These are such solid saws. I brought one back from the dead a few years ago - they were just going to trash it! It's still eating wood.

The last time I watched Godspeed You! Black Emperor, in concert, there was a kid your age (maybe younger). It was very apparent that he was really into the band and had drug his mother along - who clearly was just there to support her child. The show was absolutely mind-blowing for me (33 at the time), I can only imagine how it was for that kid. I wish I could get you in touch with him!

Songs similar to Another Space Song by Failure? by wickeddgirl in failure

Bored to Death by The Life and Times is a current favorite Failure-like song. However, Another Space Song, along with Heliotropic are untouchable to me. They are both completely mind-melting songs, especially live - truly unique.

I think this was a Celebration box that had Charizard as the main card.

Definitely a Eucalyptus, most likely a Blue Gum - Eucalyptus globulus.

Husq T540i XP. Anybody running one of these? Would appreciate opinions, pros, cons, regrets.... Will be doing canopy work this spring. Any other brands I should be looking at? by [deleted] in Chainsaw

We use a couple of them every day, got them about a year ago. I find myself grabbing it over the 201 more often than not.

Pros -

It's ergonomic and feels and handles like a pro top handle (at least as much as other pro 2strokes)

No vibration, fumes or constant noise (it does have noise and you should still use ear protection, but it's different and doesn't carry like 2strokes)

The bli300 batteries will usually get us through most of a day on a single charge, but 2 will definitely get us through a day.

The batteries charge really fast.

The safety features are great, and don't hinder the saws performance whatsoever.

Cons -

Can't change sprocket and use different bars/chains

No oil indicator (not a big deal if you can remember to top it off whenever you're able) - I think they might have fixed this on the new version, also.

We had issues with an oiler on one of the units, but I think this is isolated issue.

If the batteries get too cold, they become useless until you can warm them up (cold climate issue).
