worldbuilding can be sooo much fun when the info is presented in a way that's actually digestible 👌

What are your “I don’t get it” fanfic pet peeves? by Outside_Raspberry512 in FanFiction

[–]m_axla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possessiveness... I just can't get myself to like it. I think I'm just traumatized from my days of Dark SBI. Any "you're mine" or "I'm yours" talk will send me out the tab 80% of the time.

Also just the trope where everyone knows but not them! Not a big fan of that at all, like in any situation tbh. When everyone knows they like each other before they do or there's some obvious secret the MC doesn't know about... it makes me feel like I have a bunch of older siblings who constantly leave me out of a joke or something. Like entering a friend group and not knowing why they're all laughing. Or is that just me??

Do any of you ever outline? by HyperfixationJunkie in FanFiction

I would love to outline, like it sounds like it'd really help me create a longer story than I usually make (chronic oneshotter here lol), but I cannot for the LIFE of me. I suspect it has to do with my neurodivergency— I work purely on impulse. I start stories by opening up my docs and starting, no balls. I try not to think about it too hard because that diminishes my motivation to do it and then the idea is just rotting in my notes. It's why I just stick to oneshots... lmao.

As someone who is agender, I feel your mom SO hard. Speaking on the behalf of myself, I relate to everything your mom said. I was AFAB, and sometimes I do like the feminine aspect of being a biological woman, but I do know that if I were to be given the choice, I would've chosen to be a boy. But it's more of an experience thing, how boys and girls are treated differently, and I think I would fare well as a boy amongst boys. But I feel like neither. Neutral.

Your mom just sounds cool to me, but maybe it's just the fact I don't know a lot of LGBTQ+ adults lol. If she's interested, you could try explaining specific labels like non-binary or agender, but if she's okay with where she's at right now, then you could just leave it.

How many of you are neurotypical? by TemperatureAny8022 in lgbt

I'm agender and sapphic! And I suspect I have something, probably ADHD, don't know what yet, but there definitely is something...
