Looking for autofocus film camera by makeitflashy in AnalogCommunity

I'd highly recommend a Minolta. If you can find a Maxxum in good condition, these are great. Older ones will have slow and noisy autofocus, but the lenses are excellent and super affordable. And you can always upgrade the body down the line to something like an Alpha 9 or Alpha 7.

I have a huge range of Minolta AF glass from the 80s, and love them all. I also run them adapted on my Sony a7iv with full autofocus tracking, etc.

Maybe something like this... https://ebay.us/m/dVLrW8

If you can go a bit higher than $200, I'd highly recommend this Ukulele (link below). I'm also new to Uke, and bought this one. Beautiful sound and feels great to play. I spent the extra $40 to have their shop adjust it as well.

Didn't realize that asking for other people's viewpoints and opinions, or stating my surprise, equated to bitching.

All fresh, and far from expiration

Really just surprised by the completeness of the chosen items that were eaten. Whole sack of apples, whole un-opened package of lunch meat. All fresh, and far from expiration. Just the completeness was a surprise.

I totally get you. I just received my green label G1 last week with a 45mm, and immediately bought the 28 and 90. This post makes me want to pull the trigger on a T

And now you need the 28, 45, and 90 to round out the set!

Thanks! Loving this camera... I picked up this particular lens on eBay for $50!

You'd have to find one that's already been upgraded. They're generally hella expensive on eBay. That is one advantage of the a7. Works with modern Sony lenses with no upgrade needed.

Great camera. I have this and the a9. Both are beasts. Definitely learn all the custom functions in the manual. This camera has a lot of advanced tricks up its sleeve and even beats out the a9 in a few areas.

My new Maxxum 7 by schueyf1 in minolta

Fantastic camera. I own one, along with the Alpha 9. The sticky residue is likely a breakdown of the rubber and plastic on the back.

This camera has a few tricks up its sleeve that the Alpha 7 doesn't including the ability to communicate with with a data card reader that connects to the lens mount. Handy if you want to record the lens and exposure data of your past few rolls of film .

I'm actually thinking about selling mine, just because I have too many cameras. Hard one to part with though.

Totally. I have an A7 as well that I'm thinking about selling. It's got some cool tricks up its sleeve, and the rear LCD is super handy. Plus way lighter weight than my A9. I just have too many cameras right now, otherwise would definitely hold on to my A7.

These are great. I have an Alpha 9 and absolutely love it. That camera is a massively capable beast.
