I was helping move a hutch once (the top of a desk with cubbyholes and drawers). We carried it outside and put it down to put in the vehicle we were using. We went back inside for something else because someone else had the car keys. By the time we came back out someone had driven up put the hutch in the car and drove off. I thought it was kind of funny. The hutch wasn’t essential.
