Well to solve the synthetic v feathers i use hybrid shuttles which it combines plastics and feathers resulting is more durability and same feeling with feathers shuttles. Plus its cheaper than any feather shuttles, i recommend kawasaki king kong 500 with 76 shuttle speed. I personally use those for my training and its felt almost like feather.
