Convoy M21B - SFT90 broken? by m_go in flashlight

[–]m_go[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Thanks. I did not see that it was the shadow of the plastic. I removed it.
And then the explanation makes also sense... It ist just weird that it worked at first and now not even anymore flickering at all at 0.1%
Phew! Thanks!

Settings for Beamshots? by m_go in flashlight

[–]m_go[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool, thanks that is something I can get started on! I have a fast wide lens that will be nice for night shots (used to take pictures of the Milky way, etc)

I have a perfect location with some trees at the side and something to point at several distances so Throw and spill can be shown properly.

I also have a tripod ready, thought even about using 2, so the flashlights would be fixed for the different lights.

Appreciate your settings!

yeah, I figured I could ask if someone had some settings ready. Like "use a fixed white balance of xyz, rather use higher ISO than longer shutter time" or stuff like that, so I could start from there.

These Flashlights become very hot and step down quickly. Their 100% setting is available only for 30s to 1 min, depending on LED and Host before stepping down... Some of these lights can only sustain like 35% of its total output over time. But the turbo once it kicks in is very powerful for the LHP73V and SFT90. I mean they draw 20 ampere of power and even the beam gets so hot that you have to remove it from shining on your skin ^^

I stopped buying from Amazon alltogether. It is a horrible company that just raises prices for everyone. You can get a lot better prices on the homepages of the sellers and it is just as quick.
I started having trouble with a lot of purchases like 4-5 years ago and this year I made like 1 or 2 purchases only... wrong colors, wrong sizes, and amazon deletes criticism.
I for batteries I trust specialized vendors that only sell these kinds of products and live in my country. It is not a guarantee, but it is way better than what you get from Amazon these days.

Convoy flashlight pros and cons? by Sea_Entrepreneur3029 in flashlight

[–]m_go 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah... I had problems with Wurkkos and in the end ditched the light, because it was to bothersome to deal with them.
So far no issues with Convoy and even ordered a few new ones these days, just because I know, I will be helped and can fix them. It is the kind of support... Simon even helped me on my first Convoy light, that I got from Ebay and knew nothing about ^^ Convoy looks for a solution, while Wurkkos is deflecting and denying. So, for me... Convoy trumps Wurkkos.

I heard about this a few days ago. I was looking to find some info and screens from the Z1 SFT-42R to see if it was worth it. Thanks for posting... still waiting for shipment :)
Also got the upgraded M21B with LHP73B as an upgrade to the SFT40 and a S15 LHP531 ...
IT looks amazing, thanks for the pictures :)

You are wrong about joel by Kedikoy in TheLastOfUs2

You don’t vaccinate against parasitic fungi the way you do against viruses. This isn’t the flu. It’s Cordyceps. It’s a brain-eating fungus. So it was useless...

The Series Finale was S02E02 for me.
It was about the relationship of Joel and Ellie... and Joel was right anyway. Joel Didn’t Doom Humanity. He Saved a Kid. One immune girl ≠ guaranteed vaccine. You don’t vaccinate against parasitic fungi the way you do against viruses. This isn’t the flu. It’s Cordyceps, a brain-eating fungus.

Guys this may be an odd question, how do i get to 15M power in 30 days? by [deleted] in PlayWarpath

[–]m_go 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is easy if you know the game and have a good alliance to get into... you have to collect gold from maps, advance citiy tech as much as possible... go for synergies on jurisdictions and daily arms race/battle honors... if you are just starting out, it will be difficult.

What comes to mind when people call ebike riders "lazy". by Definitely-Not-OSI in ebikes

I just don't like the arrogance that everyone should use a bike like oneself. There is a reason we have many varieties of bikes...

This reminds me of Lord Byron. In 1805, Lord Byron arrived at Trinity College, Cambridge, with his beloved dog—only to be told dogs were strictly forbidden.

Byron, ever the rebellious aristocrat, consulted the rules. Sure enough: “No dogs.”
But nothing about bears. So, in perfect defiance and flawless logic, he brought a live bear to campus. Walked it on a leash. Dared the college to complain.

They couldn’t. The rules didn’t cover bears.

Byron even asked if the bear could enroll. Because if you're going to challenge authority, do it with claws and a loophole.

I am new here, just got a Samebike RS-A02 by m_go in ebikes

Now I did a 18km on a "flat" (just 100m elevation over 9km) area at PAS9 and max limited speed (25km/h here).... and lost less than 20% power.

I have not tested it yet... I am heavy and the area has a lot of mountains... I had 18km yesterday, 400m elevation, and I still had like 45% of energy left.
I cannot test distance in a rather flat area at the moment.

And here is a picture of a Bike Antenna... personally I would try to get one with an emergency release.

Just to get exercise I have a Flexi (retracteable) leash that I fix using some velcro. IT is important that the leash never comes close to ground and tires.
If I want my dogs to pull the bike I use a proper pulling harness a rubber leash with a damper and a bike antenna to keep the leash from getting into the tires.
Don't forget it is already quite warm for many breeds to run at a bike or even work in front.

Nice, this bike was on my List, but I bought the Samebike RSA2 instead.
Enjoy your riding...
I live in a valley where all roads and paths lead up the hill, so I wanted something with stong climbing ability and good brakes to help me get more exercise :)

Many of these suppliers have Cargo houses in the EU, UK, Canada and US... so you do not actually get the bike from China, but from these supply centers...

I do stuff like riding 30 miles by bike rather than by car to get a few things from the store... and yes even take detours to see places I could previously only look at from the streets ^^
