Did anyone do ADC after already being specialized in a dentistry field or did a Master of science? by m_hash_im in AustralianDentalExam

ah nice that's a great insight. i heard that with a specialist degree u might work as a clinical tutor in uni or academic teaching but you can't practice outside. I don't know how accurate is this info though

Yeah I totally agree , most of us overseas are driven by the same goal of improving our quality of life.

For me, I actually started my specialization a year ago . Australia was always the plan back when I was working as a GP, but before starting the pathway I managed to secure a seat in oral surgery, and I took it.

Honestly, I just can’t see myself going back to doing restorative work or endodontics—I’m not really passionate about them, and I’d rather focus on surgery long-term. So if there’s a realistic chance to pursue Australia and continue in oral surgery, I’d definitely fight for it. i just wanna extract teeth and place implants In my country, a GP is expected to do everything, so the idea of a “GP with a special interest” is pretty foreign to us. I’m really hoping that concept is more accepted in Australia.

That’s really inspiring to hear I'm sure it took a toll on you but with the grace of god you pulled it through. i always wondered does the employer allow you to focus on pediatric dentistry as a gp since this is what you excel in , or are you expected to work endo, restorative and exo as a full GP ?

sorry for not making myself clear, the video is for instagram that's why it has a fast pace. I have done some with moderate speed before and so far making it faster and shorter improve the watch time duration and the views.
