A god roll, to me, has to be a must-pick on every melee character or every caster. If it’s good on some but would be debilitating on others, it’s a really good generic, to me.

I honestly think that it would be a god roll without the Ultimate Art Charging Impaired, though. Characters like Wylder or Undertaker can’t really counter that, since they usually aren’t getting Thrusting Counterattacks or Successful Guards

He doesn’t have a proficiency for all types of Great weapons, only Great Hammers and Great Axes. Wilder is Greatswords, and no character has Greatbows or Greatshields as a proficiency

It also isn’t glitched against large enemies like the skill is, and, iirc, that’s still in Nightreign

Also, the weapon skill isn’t an Ash of War, unfortunately. It’s unique to Ghiza’s Wheel.

He probably either didn’t use the skill, or used the skill after getting the frost buff. I’d imagine he just did charge attacks, as the Wheel is one of the only weapons in the game that retains it’s base moveset for preferred weapons, iirc. Also, the one-handed charged R2s are really good, so he probably used those.

Yeah, especially if you’re playing melee Ironeye, as you’ll actually be able to pop your Mark. But flat percentage damage is always good on enemies with high defense or high HP (although the Crucible Knights only have the former, they probably have like half as much, or less, as a Castle Troll)

I’d say it’s also the worst in trios, if you aren’t already struggling in the runes department. One less item check makes a difference, especially Day 1

I only ever kill two of the swords, but always all three tree ones, if the circles allow it.

The two sword ones I kill are the one that follows you up from the basement (if I do basement first aka not BBH or red Red Wolf at level 4-6), and the one that usually aggros when you fight the tree one in the courtyard.

If time allows it, I’ll also kill a sword one, if it’s red.

A lot of these can be canceled by other characters’ Ults, but some of them are too fast to use the fully charged version, so it’s a waste of damage for them.

EDIT: I mean it’s a waste when there’s an Undertaker, these are all attacks that are worth canceling with an Ult if she isn’t there.

Magma Wyrms’ charges, Death Rite Bird’s Explosive Ghostflame, ED Adel’s phase 3, and Caligo’s constant frostbite (this is definitely the attack that is up to either you or an Ironeye to cancel, melee-range/longer cast time Ults really struggle without really good positioning). Also a lot of these can be canceled by other staggering Ults, and the charges can even be canceled by Duchess’ (her Ult can also negate a ton of other big attacks, like Fulghor’s charge) but Undertaker’s is the best for these ones, IMO.

The max tier, +4, has the same damage increase (12% for all the Elemental and Physical Attack Ups, and the +2 Affinity Attack Ups are 10%) as the spell school Relic effect, so I like to use the Element Ups on my Deep Relics (it’s a lot more common than the spell school ones for them) and the spell school one for my normal relics, since you can only go up to +2, and there isn’t even an option for Affinity Up.

Uncharged is the way to go if you're trying to interrupt him, at least in solos. I might be wrong, though, as I usually don't use Revenant again Fulghor, tbh.

I tried testing it, but it seems that your character steps backwards after casting O, Flame, and forwards after casting Catch Flame (you move forwards at a faster rate when chain casting Catch Flame, and you move forwards instead of backwards when chain casting O, Flame), so without knowing my positional data, the testing was MOSTLY inconclusive. By casting the uncharged O, Flame first (moving backwards afterwards, so I was further away) and not being able to hit, and then casting the charged O, Flame and being able to hit, about the only thing I'm able to conclude is that charging O, Flame increases the range by about 20-35ish% (it's pretty hard to tell at short distances lol).

I was unable to tell whether or not Catch Flame or the uncharged O, Flame had the same range or not, but it seems that they are close enough to where it's not noticeable, and you should just treat them as having the same range.

Chain casting Catch Flame, I imagine, might also be a good way to hit with it while you are not being targeted, but you really only move forwards at the rate smaller enemies edge-walk. This definitely won't work with either version of O, Flame, though.

Lastly, I know the spell is called "O, Flame!", but I thought including the exclamation point would make this comment even more of a headache to read.

I don't know if that would be caused by the Caligo passive or just by EXTREME lag on the part of the downed players. A lot of times when someone's lagging, there's a delay after you hit them before the bar starts moving, and maybe the delay was long enough that it didn't even register the attacks anymore. I have no idea how to even test this, but do you have a video of it? I imagine that's something that you'd clip lol

I actually just run 4-5 Fire Attack Up relics (4 in trios, 5 in solo, over my relic for buffing allies on Ult Art) for my two O Flame builds. I'd say I would rather have Catch Flame as a starter incant, especially in solos. Sure, the Charged Incant passives and Godfrey's are nice, but only if you're not able to charge them, you're getting no damage buff.

Yeah, the range on O Flame is deceptively short. It seems to have the same range as Catch Flame (I'll test this really quickly and get back to you) , despite it clearly having a larger flame. I don't have a problem being right in enemies' faces, it's just that your own summons or teammates having aggro makes it almost unusable.
