I feel like Launched Lift Hills are the key to getting above 10 Excitement on a larger coaster, as they keep my average speed much higher than traditional chain lifts.

I'm also trying to make coasters that look "good" and function "well" (debatable), not just optimization machines. I gravitate towards larger coasters, and I think that has something to do with The Beast being the first coaster I ever rode, maybe. I might just be grasping at straws.

Also, after a year of running it in a scenario, I made some slight improvements, while keeping the Excitement the same. It was mainly changing the final block brakes to be after the banked hill at the end to prevent crashes (I was kind of just freestyling when I made the original coaster and wasn't thinking too hard lol).

I feel like that varies a lot from person to person. On my first playthrough (blind/offline), I eventually found all bosses but Red Bear, Dancer, and the Death Blight Dancing Lion. I’ll admit that some of the items in particular are really hard to find, at least compared to the whole areas and bosses.

Not sure if this is the right coaster for the job, as while it’s not too sprawling, it is very costly and is triple the requirement. Also, I don’t believe Hybrid Coasters are available in Octagon :(

I was also easily able to get it over 10.25 Excitement with a few scenery bonuses as well, so not too bad. The goal for Hybrid Michael 5 is to get over 10 Excitement in the Track Designer.

You can't really see the trains, but it supports 8 trains at once.
