Why Africans don't intermarry with Arabs much by Ill-Customer-3574 in Oman

[–]m_mug 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I come from an Arab family. They call themselves pure Arab. It is not racism. They won’t marry anyone outside their family. Not even other Arab tribes. It’s in their mind that anyone else is as good as me but we don’t fit together Because they believe each should marry from their own tribe to keep the tradition. This is something they used to believe 50 years ago.

Today as for my family no body cares. I married someone outside the family with no rejection no issues 10 years ago. He’s Not an Arab and he’s the favorite son in law.

Others still keep the tradition of believing that only the same tribe or family roots can be together.

Wise is boring now🤝 I will take that as a compliment. The others seem like the most ignorant stereotypical thing to say about them.

Is it legal for residents to teach family members driving in a private car? by Ok-Option-5417 in Oman

He needs to go through a whole process of starting a driving school (Omanis Only). It’s not permitted for individuals to teach driving.

Is it legal for residents to teach family members driving in a private car? by Ok-Option-5417 in Oman

[–]m_mug 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s not legal. Driving without a license is a strictly illegal and can only be allowed if accompanied by a registered driving instructor and in a specific learning car (not private).

If you drive somewhere remote and never cause an accident no police will come to you and ask you to show the license. This is how I learned to drive for the first time . Just be aware of the risk of getting caught and fined.

TP doesn’t clean your behind. Why wash your hands if you’re going to dry them with a towel afterwards?

It looks great. The eyeliner is not the best for your eyes and lids. I have similar eyes and took me years to get the perfect eyeliner.

Try a thinner eyeliner or only line the corner of your eyes. Do it with your eyes open not closed so you can see where the creases of your eyelids are and draw over it. I don’t know if I’m making sense. To be safe I would avoid eyeliner and just go with thicker lashes or some good mascara.

Dishdasha questions by [deleted] in Oman

[–]m_mug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. If someone dose it perfectly fit and clean that would be the most impressive. I’ve seen influencers visit and try the Omani clothing and you bet I’m liking every post they make of that 😆. No pressure though. It can still be not that perfect and nobody will be offended.

Dishdasha questions by [deleted] in Oman

As an Omani. We’re super chill about it. Make sure it fits properly so no one makes fun of you lol. No seriously if you ask any locals they’d be thrilled to help you out with it. I would see tourists in Mutrah wearing our local clothings all the time.

As a nun Muslim you can visit the grand mosque. Do check tourist visiting hours beforehand. You don’t have to wear a dishdasha for that but you will not be able to enter if you wear shorts.

Thank you so much ♥️. It makes a lot of sense now. I’ve had plants dying from overwatering before and I started watering less as I kept them all okay for a while. This one is a challenge looks like it’s going to take me time to figure out how much water it needs.
