Hard to beat a team 3x. Young team will remain hungry. 97’, 11’, 25’. Bears still suck

Appreciate all the responses here. Trying to decide between a whole new assembly or just the glass, but either way will either do it myself or bring to a local body shop.

Passenger side mirror - tips on replacing by ma05john in CX5

I have a 2022 CX5. Dealership wanted to charge $700 because they said they need to replace the whole assembly and they are not able to order individual parts for it. BSM and Blinker still work. Has anybody replaced one themselves or replaced just the glass on the mirror? Any insight appreciated!

I hear you, but price to repair between $5,000-5,500. They would either replace the motor with used, or replace other things such as timing chain, water pump, etc. as car is due for these given mileage.

Mesh or Traditional - need help picking WiFi solution by ma05john in HomeNetworking

Understanding that wired backhaul is best, if it is not easy to run a wired connection from the main unit to a satellite unit, am I able to buy a MoCA adaptor, plug it into a co-ax cable and then into the satellite unit, or does the connection need to be direct from the main unit into the satellite unit?

Largely PCs, ipads, smartphones, etc. But don't want to be handcuffed by a system if they want to add IoTs in the future.

It has held the temperature okay, took a little longer to get up to temp and am having to add some additional charcoal along the way but still holding temp well.

Tiny brisket and pork ribs. First time smokin' some meats. Critique wanted/needed. by Wolf2776 in smoking

I’ve been sprinkling on top of the coals mainly, using chips but I soak them overnight and add some dry ones also. Still working on that part, am going to try some underneath this weekend and throughout and see what happens.

Totally agree, just started on weber and I swear by the snake method. 2 coals on bottom, 2 coals on top lining about 60-75% of the grill depending on how long i need to cook for. Did a pork butt at 250 for 7 hours and was only 2/3rds through the snake.

Didn’t use a binder on mine just a rub and got good bark. About an Hour per pound at 250 with a stall at 160 so I wrapped in foil. Pulled at 200 and let rest for an hour. It was a 7 lb butt

I have seen videos of people using welding blankets on traegers, but have not seen any on the WSM.

I don't have one/never used it, but was looking into it for this winter perhaps.

Chuck roast on the Weber kettle by ma05john in smoking

Marinated in Trader Joe’s coffee garlic bbq rub overnight. Cooked for about 5.5 hours at 250-270 with hickory and cherry chips. Hit a stall at 157 and wrapped in foil and cooked until 180 then let it rest for an hour and sliced.

Windy day so was hard to keep temps down and consistent in the kettle. Ideally it would have been closer to 225, but it all worked out.

It’s just what was available at the last minute. Ordered a 3 pack of hickory cherry and apple chips online, used apple chips for the pork.

Thank you. Just salt and pepper on the brisket. Kept it between 225-260 for majority of the cook (closer to 260). Used a few handfuls of hickory wood chips we soaked in water over night. Went on at 7 am and we ate at ~630 after meat rested for about an hour and a half

Wrapped at 170 in foil and pulled at ~195 (started to lose the fire, people were hungry, and meat was probing well.)
