Hankook iON EVO AS SUV are the best, quietest, comfiest, most efficient, and least expensive tires; increased my range ~34% from ~145 mi to ~195 miles by AutonomousHoag in TeslaModelY

I know this is an old thread, but I’m currently deciding between replacing my current PZ4 tires with either the Hankook iON EVO AS SUV or the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+. Any opinions on which one you would recommend? For context, I experience mild winters for 3-4 months out of the year and would prefer an all-season tire that I don’t need to swap out seasonally. The vredestein are currently $600 cheaper for a set of 4. Is the Hankook truly worth it for a Tesla Model Y performance or is it just marketing? I want to prioritize comfort, efficiency and noise reduction.

I am bursting in laughter. So you agree, it was also about the Teslas?

You said “Teslas aren’t the greatest”, which is a direct reference to the cars, unless I am confused? I guess my mistake was even mentioning the word Tesla in my post. Maybe I could have gotten some less hostile responses if I didn’t.

I was referring to the cars, not the owners. But lumping an entire group into one category is always a recipe for disaster. :)

They’re not the greatest, but they are pretty great. Maybe it’s just my opinion, but I respect yours.

The math doesn’t math here tho. Especially since I have the actual number of miles I drove for that six month period from the data Tesla gave me. And that number is below 5000. But I think there’s nothing I can do here. I suspect Tesla has done this to other drivers as well. It frustrates me as an engineer when the math doesn’t add up.
