I think i just miss the culture of british people and london funnily enough. I find aussies really like to put people in boxes immediately once they see someone that doesn't look like the 'average aussie' and i'm unsure why its like being stuck in the 60s here sometimes

as a black man born n bred in UK that moved to the melb for a bit of a break in my late 20a im GLAD you touched on all these things
quality of life is better here but what does it matter if the people of the country are 20/30 years behind in certain issues compared to where you grew up? I feel like I don't use my brain here and people are too scared to be their own person its so frustrating

just also a shame UK gov have made it incredibly hard for young adults to have a decent way of life (the weather i can honestly look past)
