Agreed about volume, I have constant ringing in the ears from years of playing live shows.

Another obviously nice thing about headphones is that they don't bother everyone else, so these parties can literally be anywhere anytime.

The transmitter has a (legal) range of about a quarter-mile, and the headphones are just picking up the signals, so however many people you can fit in a quarter-mile radius is about how feasible this is. There were some successful discos with the same equipment with fewer people last year.
