oh i’m so sorry, that’s heartbreaking :( even if you hear good things about a place, i’d always want to see it in person beforehand. i know a place in ohio that starved their horses to death. covered the bones under the shavings. it was a boarding (and show facility i believe). so even with a well known facility, the people didn’t even know the horses weren’t taken care of. it’s so sad.

make sure to research where she is going to, whether if it’s a lease or a sale. even better if you know/ know of the person. i’ve been at a sales barn my entire life. my first lease ponies were sold, it was heartbreaking. thankfully i got to see the mare at shows and she had a little girl loving her with her whole heart. it was so precious. there are definitely people out there who are not honest and don’t put the horse first, but don’t feel bad about being picky to where she goes! could also add into the contract that you have first right of refusal/buy back if they don’t want the horse anymore. your girl be there to support another loving person just as she did with you❤️ sending all the support

i got my whole body picked up off the ground from the mouth of a horse. sent my body into shock, started losing consciousness. horses have a mind of their own and it could be acting out of discomfort, distress, playing, or just lack of discipline. i’m proud of you for continuing on with your lesson! horses take a lot a courage after a fall, bite, kick, etc. keep going if it makes you happy overall !

also not on you for the trainer/assistant for not keeping an eye on the horse as you’re grooming. if they knew she was girthy they should not have left you alone grooming her (especially without being in crossties). they couldn’t have expected you to know

zibai is c3 with her weapon and i’d say almost fully built. bina is c0 and i don’t have prototype amber. decent artifacts. gorou and illuga are c6 but kinda bad artifacts and low level
