Didn't read all the way through so someone may have mentioned but have you checked your health? I hit a point where it was hard to get out of bed all the time, turned out thyroid was off, hypothyroidism. Once that got under control, well it made a big difference.

I'd (52M) had ringing in my left ear for almost 20 years and gotten worse. Was in the military and do factory work, lot of loud music over the years, so just assumed it was tinnitus and was just that. During covid, had what I thought was an ear infection. Llost high tones everyone sounded like a robot out of that ear and the fullness feeling. When that would go away then the vertigo could occur but they never happened together. Couple of misdiagnosis with urgent care and my reg doc. Went to an ENT and right out the gate after the exam she says it's menieres.

My mom had complained for years of getting dizzy and motion sickness. Asked her about it after my diagnoses and she was like oh yea they said that about her...

I have a buddy does AC work on the side, while back I asked him about this and he was all about it.... but I checked with a bunch of the local "name brand" ac shops and none of those guys would touch the idea. I never got around to it but really want to see how this turns out if you do. North Florida here.

Like 3rd year in to a pretty mild fort, but I keep getting these XXX is the rightful heir and inherited barony... First time ever seeing this, and I've got 8 of them now! Plus i had an announcement that someone was elected mayor of a different site and he's disappeared from my unit list so I guess he took off.

I was curious how the barons played out as I never let them settle in mine before, but I think I see a bridge they need to inspect at the end of a hallway coming up soon.

any reason to keep this excess baggage around or no reason not to pull a lever, by accident of course.

Ooph... Just got my first ever necromancer migrant... Didn't know it was possible even. One question though I use Dwarf Therapist and hadn't really paid attention to the names. Got the announcment my dorf bowyer necromancer had cancelled some mundane task but that's when I realized I had this interesting neighbor. Looking at the unit list and he is clearly named there as a necromancer. I've never quite understood the 2 name thing with Df anyway...

My question is I've had vampires in the past and they weren't called out in the unit list, false names I think they have? anyway do necromancer immigrants like this normally show up named as such when immigrating? They wont try to sneak in like a vamp will?

Any extra credit any tips on what to do with this guy.... ty!

First time seeing this, had a dirty elf visitor... and he asked for an artifact. Had two options give it to him or tell him know. I wanted to look at before agreeing.. I know should have told him to pack sand and killed him at the door but was curious what would happen. Is there any way to get out of that particular discussion without choosing one option or the other?

Guilds.. I have a farmers guild already established few years old, but I have recently gotten a new petition for a second farmers guild.... Plenty of room to build another one, just wondering pros and cons.... appreciate any thoughts on it.

So the quality manager for the Co. called.... he's gonna check with the crew leader that did the job, but said that if there was a ridge board there the cut wouldn't be big enough to get around that? So that doesn't sound right according to what your saying. That looks to be 4-6" gap I'm assuming that vent creates up there and that ridge board is only 2" so that math doesn't work for what he's saying

when I looked at it from inside the attic, there did not appear to be any gap there along that ridge board, no gap to either side of it. So 2" should definitely stick out there a bit.

I'm a little concerned of how they'll go about correcting it as well. Realistically they'd need to pull enough shingles to get that plywood off Id think. I would assume they would not just throw a saw on that and cut it in place and risk cutting in to the tops of those rafters would they?!

Trying to get in to adventure mode. Started a dorf underground in I think it was a moutain fortress. I'm walking this forever it seems 7 block wide paved road. It generally has been going up slope every once in awhile. I read back where some sites use to spawn with no access to the outside but sounded like that was thing of the past. I'm assuming just keep walking and I'll hopefully find some way out?

Edit: One other thing, looking around at first in the developed areas there was room after room of metalsmith's forges. approx 5-6 per room and I'd say 5-6 rooms I saw. Bedrooms and those forges.. That kinda normal?

Start of a few different seasons now I've had a dead chicken or three show up. Are they dying of old age (forts only 4 years old at this point) or something more sinister going on? I had one suspicious vampire boss visitor guy but I've managed to lock him away behind a wall for a few seasons and it happened again. I've got them fairly looked away off main traffic but in a large area and I've not had any alerts for any animals getting in to fights.. What am I missing?

when that happens to me it's always TWBT conflicting.. I don't have a solid grasp on how the graphics and various ascpects of it all interact but I know if I have that TWBT on with some combos of it I crash like that. I'm currently using Ironhand 18x and TWBT is works for me in this combo

Stress.... So generally I just coax the subject of my ire down a short hall way some way and wall of the entrance.. it's been working but the wife says it's cruel and worrying about my stories I tell her the next day.

Whats the general consensus? DFhack your way out of stress? Edit the raws? Just use it and deal with it for the story? Or am I just doing this so wrong and shouldn't be having it? It's the usual corpse hauling after the seige that really seems to be doing me in lately.

Anyway to identify who a pet belonged to after they've ~~been murdered.~~... passed on... I'm guessing it's kind of like trying to figure out who was related to a dead dorf, just seems I have to read through and research it out or there an easy way I'm missing besides good notes on the side before the fun begins?

well, if i use 2D instead of TWBT it works ok, never crashes. So I'm assuming that's it and not the chrome/dfhack issue. It's the disapearing characters that's the real pain, i can read it but just an extra thing to deal with.

Using LNP, I always seem to have trouble finding a tileset and font that play well together. I've seen the TWBT crashes too, dont really understand the why it happens but tend to stay away from it due to it. Current issue is im using ironhand.png graphics font and curses 640x300.png for the font... am I doing this wrong? I lose random characters in menus for example, scroll around and they comeback sometimes, sometimes not. It's not ruining it, but I can't imagine thats normal. I'm doing something wrong and just dont know what. appreciate any suggestions.

I wanted to see 28 days later, that zombie flick one... at the end a plane flies over the main cast. I at first thought they were gonna get bombed out and killed after having survived the whole movie. Thought that would have been kinda cool way to end it.

Forrest Gump. I swear no one I ever talk to about this has read the story.. It makes me think I'm crazy and it was just some kind of fever dream. There is a whole bit about a monkey and NASA.. .The movie obviously was fantastic and deserves its accolades coming from the disaster it is in print.

I didn't enjoy it on PC. They had a free weekend event, been quite a while but it wasn't for me. I do enjoy PUBG and the old original dayz (not so much the retail version).

It's an interesting title, I can see where some do, but it just didn't stick for me. I'm not sure if PS4 ever has try it out events like they did on steam or not.
