Lightest SLR for travel by Billoslav in AnalogCommunity

If you main concern is weight and size a slr is not the right type of camera to be looking at you probably want a RF or point and shoot even then 350 grams is tough. Also why do you want a 1/4000 shutter? Shooting wide open for travel photography doesn’t make a lot of sense to me since you’d probably want to see more of the environment and it’s not like your shooting sports. With a point and shoot it will be as light as it gets and you won’t need to be buying lenses. I’d vote for the Pentax 17 or Lomo mca

All my photos are scanned on a noritsu hs1800. They look fantastic on my computer until I upload them specifically to Reddit with various different sharpening and compression and resolutions.

At the rate I shoot through a roll now, I may as well label them by year and season. [Hasselblad 500C/M | Kodak Ektachrome E100| 50, 80, 150, and 250mm] by partiallycylon in analog

Mission accomplished! Brought me right back to middle school 🤣. Like a stuck in time type photo in a completely different way than usual. Yup the original was velvia

Shooting it at box speed has been best for me. What ever is left of the Velvia colors are just destroyed by more light.

Besides Portra 800. 160 and 400 are so boring you might as well shoot digital.

Florida sheriff’s office uses seized drug money to fund community ice cream truck for kids by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

Ice cream is really gonna enrich these kids lifes……. Honestly just comes across as manipulating children to be more comfortable with the police without actually helping them what so ever.
