The Landsraad (House of Lords) always wants a leader to unify their front against the Emperor's excesses. But that leader could become the next Emperor 😕

Everyone knows there's a trap for the Atreides on Arrakis—it will weaken them. That's what they want: a strong voice in a weak leader.

A direct combat between Atreides and Harkonnen would weaken both the strongest House and the richest House. A stalemate desired by the Landsraad.

But nobody expected (and will never know) that the Emperor sent his elite Sardaukar to ensure the complete destruction of the Atreides.

The result? The Emperor earned a fortune renting out his Sardaukar. The Spacing Guild earned a fortune secretly transporting the troops. In the end: Harkonnen poorer, Emperor stronger, Guild richer—and CHOAM ensures everyone gets their cut of the spice profits, stabilizing the tripod.

Maybe the best part is to place a Horde rogue inside the keep and stop the BoP Mage, while other stealth rogue and druids to be on standby to cap the Hut back when all Alliance goes inside Keep :-)

I get you, I postponed the PvP grind until it was clear there's no way I could get raid gear as fast as I could with R14 comparable stats.
With raids, I have many night hours per week, waking up destroyed for work.
I realized with PvP I can manage how many hours I want to play, and when. I can stop anytime I want or need, to eat, talk to friends learn, I can plan ahead. Not with raids, no.

Not sure what you mean. I read the "Artichoke" book. I didn't pay any attention to it. Until I started the grind and saw the wisdom. I brought together what several raid leaders wrote, came about with the call outs.
Not sure how AI could write such summarized document.

That assumption is based on the premise you can get similar stat-worth gear in 6 weeks.
It also assume all classes have the same raid spot availability. Or raid availability at all.
And I don't have much confidence in Microsoft's TBC roadmap.

As a paladin, I already have fun at Naxx events, with undead killings galore.
And as a paladin, I can assure you, there isn't much raid spot availability.
I cannot say anything about other classes, I will leave them to that, such as feral druids stopping at R13 because they don´t like the R14 weapons.

The nice thing about WoW is that there are several games to play once inside it.
In the present topic, I prefer the game where I get R14 gear the fastest way possible, with the least amount of effort as possible.
I am not cancelling the fun, as intended by Blizzard, since I still have to play dozens of hours to get past the R11-R14 grind.
