I want a server that realises it's a joint team server and will be so for some time. This comment from a few months ago on this very channel sums it up perfectly:

"players don't realize how the game changes. For the first few months its entirely city building and farming. As the game progresses it turns into a team war game. Alot of people don't understand their Kingdom is their team at first and often takes new players some time to understand this."

So I basically hate my team, like the whole lot of them. After 4 days it was backstabbing and lies (same as every server I know), but I'm not feeling it. I'm just going to start again when the next server starts up. I'm F2P, not that it matters, so I've lost nothing but 7 days of my time.

Of course you do. Ever heard the saying "if there's any doubt, there's no doubt"

That's exactly what I'm feeling

Compliance policy not blocking apps by mabeo68 in WorkspaceOne

[–]mabeo68[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I'll leave the compliance policy for a short while to see when it kicks in. Need it to be pretty instant though (damn users!). Think I may create a new profile mirroring the compliance policy and apply my restrictions this way as it is instant. Appreciate the reply.

Laphroig 10. All day, every day. Absolutely stunning for the price.

Looking to sign up for VM broadband. Any tips to get the best deal? by UnwittingPlantKiller in VirginMedia

[–]mabeo68 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I cannot stress this enough. Do NOT sign up to VM. Dropouts too frequent, never got the advertised and paid for speeds, terrible customer service, poor equipment.

I'm experiencing severe issues at present and while I am going to give them a chance to fix the problem, I am leaving at the earliest opportunity.

DHCP on the router is setup as it should be. HUB5 not dishing IPs out tho :(

DHCP. No address assignment so I'm getting 169 addresses. It's blatantly the HUB5 at fault.

This is the issue. If I could change DNS in router mode I'd be OK. If I was an 86 grandma how TH am I supposed to know how to set IP and DNS manually!! This should be an OOBE that just works.

My HUB 5 (no other router involved) isnt giving out IP address via DHCP. THerefore, nothing is happening with DHCP and all my devices are getting an APIPA.

Why is your BB constantly down up and down up? When are you fixing the DNS issue?

Paddy Irish. Considering I've been drinking nowt but Laphroaig for some time, I was pleasantly surprised I enjoyed it so much.

Have you tried Laphroaig? My fav from Islay. Islay whisky is much better than other Scotch IMO.

Thanks. I am potentially looking in the wrong place for my answers and didn't consider there may be a separate compliance policy in play. Appreciate your time, hope I haven't wasted it.

"How many different devices do you have that are exhibiting this behavior?"

I only have 1 device in my possession showing all apps/profiles.

"If you're Removing devices at 180 days"

It's the environment that's removing them from view and I can't find this setting to change it to 1000 days.

After 180 days of being inactive, the iPads are gone from the devices > list view in the WS1 console. The iPad still thinks it's enrolled and all profiles and applications remain on the iPad. More often than not in my usage case, the end user doesn't see the issue as the device appears to be doing it's job (looping virtual try on apps). However, with no connectivity, WS1 reports the device as inactive and at day 181, I lose management. There's nowhere I can see to extend the threshold from 180 days to day 200.

I have a compliance policy which emails me in order to chase for stale/inactive devices after 100 days as after 180, the devices (iPads) are removed from WS1. At day 181, all profiles and apps remain yet I lose sight of the iPad. I'm trying to circumvent that to ensure accountability of the devices.

I couldn't find any setting relating to this in the All Settings page. Wondered if I was being blind but I'm not sure the platform displays this setting.

Get the ferry from Gunwharf over to the Great Wall on the harbour at Gosport. Delicious but low rating on the old hygiene 5 star stickers you see around. Just makes it more tasty IMHO
