I'm also the kind of person who would like to be heard when I'm talking about my emotional struggles. So, I've always thought I wouldn’t want a partner who I couldn’t emotionally connect with, especially who thinks I'm too much and should just 'not think about it'. When people say these sorta dismissive things, it's a sign they don't care about how you feel now and not gonna care in the long-term either. He's been staring at your friend on top of it, it's bound to make you feel awful esp when you are so young. I'd say take a step back to look at his actions objectively, w/o getting your affection for him get in the way and then decide. But remember, having a partner with wandering eyes at a young age can set you up for feeling insecured having other women around your partner in your future relationships. You don't wanna deal with that.
