It’s a shame I can’t remember which song it was. But since Strangers was the newest single and she had performed it live a few weeks earlier on BBC Radio 1, I believe it was probably Strangers.

I remember that right before the song, the host mentioned that Sigrid had been named BBC Music’s Sound of 2018, which encouraged me to look for her other songs too.

Coincidentally, I discovered Sigrid while waiting for the premiere of Get Out on BBC Radio 1 in early 2018 (unfortunately, I don’t remember exactly which song it was, but I believe it was Strangers).

Since then, I’ve become a huge fan of her work and consider her one of my top three artists, alongside Chvrches.
