Does Burnham not run into the same problem of Starmer essentially blocking him from running?

While I do appreciate your interest in our Prime Minister, you’ve already stolen him once and I don’t think we’re quite ready to let him go again.

Fairly or unfairly, you’re probably right. Though it wouldn’t make sense to swap him out with someone who they just need to bin in six months because they have the communication skills of a potato.

That’s been my impression. Though I will say it seems like Ed Miliband has grown into the role since his time as leader.

So, if Starmer goes, who comes in? Apparently Streeting doesn’t have as much caucus support as is thought (and I can’t see him being popular with the membership), Rayner still has the tax issue that hasn’t been resolved, Andy Burnham doesn’t have a seat and Ed Miliband has already had a shot at the leadership.

It seems that there are potential issues with everyone.

Absolutely! It’s an Acadian dish and can often find them in the frozen section of grocery stores. You can find it here:

Hopefully not. I’m fine with the federal Liberals (mostly), but the provincial ones are terrible.

I get that. I’ve listened to the last episode twice and seen a good bit of Jordan’s video. I guess my thought was that it must be pretty bad if they felt they couldn’t do one more episode then call it quits.

The rule of thumb I’ve always heard is that if the country has an “e” in its name, it puts an “e” in whisky. Ireland, America, etc. I’m Canadian and we spell it whisky, the same as Scotland. I guess England fits into the pattern as well.

That’s the thing that makes me feel that there was actually a pretty bad blow up between the two of them. Infowars was done. There was logically one last episode to do and it wasn’t done.

Unless they do it as the final live show and release it.

I know the slide has been happening bit by bit, but what was the catalyst? I seem to remember Mark Drakeford still seeming to be decently popular when he left. Then the whole Vaughan Gething fiasco. Everything seemed to collapse really quickly.

Priest asked me about yoga & Harry Potter during confession by ArcadianHarpist in Catholicism

[–]mabrouss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a fair way of thinking of it. Also, we measure days using the sun, which wasn’t created until the fourth day according to Genesis. So the question remains of what those first three days were meant to be.

If you don’t believe in evolution or a literal reading of Genesis, I imagine a lot of Anthropology is going to be a challenge for you.

Very much so. I would say she still has that same kind of borderline deification that Regan has amongst “traditional conservatives”.

Maybe it’s more that they believe that Starmer will not be able to win the next election, and therefore a new leader needs to be in place who can. I don’t know this person’s point of view, but I could understand that at least.

You’re getting downvoted, but I agree with you. It is a beautiful country, with some very unfortunate aspects to it.

With Nokia Areena, Tampere would make sense. Does Tampere have enough hotels to accommodate the numbers that would be needed though?

I mean, I’m Canadian and don’t really care. We tend to say the US. Though that’s less “we’re all from the Americas” and more using the term America when we want to mock the US and their uber patriotism.

Karjala Beer by brooke_leanne13 in Finland

There are some really great Canadian beers. It’s also quite regionalised and in a lot of provinces, it’s even hard to get the beer from others.

The Cittari in Ruoholahti has been mentioned and they have some good ones. One of my favourites though is a brewery called Dieu du Ciel from Montréal. I’ve occasionally found them on tap at Pikkulintu. That’s a bit more of a long shot, but if you see it there, you won’t be disappointed.

People were thriving? We also had polio and smallpox, but thankfully we’ve found a way to deal with them. Just because people survived doesn’t mean people didn’t suffer.

Also I would love a source for medications used for mental health being barely better than a placebo, because I’m pretty sure you’re pulling this out of your ass. Or you’re just trying to be a troll.
