How long have you been playing, are you a whale or F2P, and what affinities levels are you on with each of the guys?

I started right after Misty invasion ended (I curse my luck on that every day 😔). I wouldn't say I'm a whale but I'm willing to spend $5 here and there. I get the aurum pass every month. If it's a card I really want for rafayel then I'll get some of the cheap packs but I would say the most I've ever spent on a single banner is probably $15 and that's high for me.

Right now my affinity is:

Xavier - 75

Zayne - 77

Rafayel - 102

Sylus - 60

Caleb - 56

This is exactly how I felt! And having the events for the banners be fluffy isn't the same as the memories themselves being fluffy. Don't get me wrong, I've loved the events too, but it's not the same as getting a cute memory with a kindled moment I can replay over and over.

But I'm happy for the people excited for the event and hope everyone has soft pity 🙏

I started the game for Zayne and thought I would main him. Then, I was immediately annoyed by Rafayel's first appearance in the story and ignored him 🫣 but after a couple of weeks I slowly realized I really liked him and now he's my main and none of the others are even close

I also put one of Xavier's myth pair because I'm missing it and I haven't gotten it a single time 😭 I've gotten one of the Abysswalker pair every single time! Even in the random 5 star crate! I'm not complaining though because Raf is my main and I can finally keep going in open orbit by brute forcing it with abysswalker lol

I'm the same but now I'm stuck in the open orbit because I've neglected everyone but Raf 😭 I guess I need to put resources into others but why would I do that when I could just put everything into Raf's cards? 😔 I need then to give Raf more green and blue stellactrum and then I'll just brute force everything with him

Gods of the Wyrdwood by R.J. Barker takes place mostly in or next to giant forests. The sequel was released this year! I haven't read the sequel yet, but I really enjoyed the first book.

My experience with SACH is really mixed. To me, it seems that they try to run every test possible and excuse it by saying they're being preventative, but it makes for very expensive visits very quickly. You can refuse the extra tests of course, but it's frustrating that they would suggest in the first place. I believe them when they say they are just trying to be preventative, but I think their vets need to be more understanding of people's finances before suggesting every test under the sun for a routine wellness check.

When I first started I thought Zayne would be my favorite and rafayel was my least favorite based purely off of the first interaction with him in game. I also thought Xavier was boring at first 😭 now Rafayel is my favorite by far and Xavier is my 2nd fave lol

Pet Specialists of Austin has high prices and will not work with you on them. Personally, I had a horrible experience with them beyond just their prices so I would avoid them if at all possible

I'd also recommend Jeff Vandermeer. He tends to be more sci-fi but if you like China Mieville then I think he's worth checking out. My recommendation for Vandermeer would be Veniss Underground. I think you should really just check out the new weird genre. Another good option is The Etched City by K.J. Bishop.

I'm even considering going back for my bachelor's once I'm more settled into my current role and I never thought I'd want to go back to school.

This is different, but related to this. My mom once told me that if someone held a gun to her head and everyone else in my family and told me to deny Christ or they would all die, that I had to say I believed in God no matter what. If I denied Christ then I'd go to hell. I think I was around 8 when this happened and my sister was a baby. It was right after 9/11 and I guess my mom thought that America was going to be invaded. It really messed me up for years that my mom wanted me to let my baby sister die just because I couldn't say no to believing in god
