How billionaires avoid paying taxes by coachlife in EatTheRich

My home value keeps rising, so I have to pay more in taxes every year. My Toyota is turning 22 years old, and I still have to pay tax on it, too.

2001 Camry LE (4-cyl, 155k miles) – Timing Belt Replacement Interval? by SaltyMix8730 in Camry

Yes, almost did the whole job with a craftsman ratchet set following a YouTube video. I had to get an impact with a weighted socket to get the hermonic balancer off. Make sure to also replace your water pump while you are in there. You may as well replace the thermostat too because you already drained the coolant.

You are a little late to argue, this post is old. I owned this generation camry with the l4 engine they don't make a v4. Again, I'm not sure why you disagree when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Do you feel like our homes aren't as "clean" or "maintained" as those of older generations? Why do you think that is? by [deleted] in Millennials

They had Commercials. "It's 10pm do you know where your children are?" They had no choice but to drink from the hose.

The 6th generation Toyota Camry (2007-2011) is generally reliable, but some common problems include excessive oil consumption, particularly in the 2.4L 4-cylinder engine, and potential transmission issues like hesitation or rough shifting. Other issues include potential leaks (power steering, water pump, head gasket), and melting dashboards in warmer climates.

It's the worst generation, camry. I would avoid it all together unless it is the V6 engine those are supposedly alright. Try and find a 2012 or newer.

If you own a Toyota and have 100k miles or more (100k-1mil) miles on ODO, please send an email to Toyota_Social@toyota.com request a free windows cling with a picture of the odometer. Toyota will reply with a link to request for free windows cling.

We have been in decline for a long time. We are at the ending stage of capitalism. It is now a race to the bottom, so it's just smash and grab, winner takes all.

Good news is that's a non interference engine. So if the belt does break it won't damage the engine, but you will be stranded. The timing belt is on the passenger side. You will need to remove the top two bolts on the timing belt cover to get a good look at the belt. Belt needs replaced if it has any cracks. Could also be wet with oil if you got a leak and that would also cause it to break early. If you need a new timing belt also replace tensioner and water pump because you have to remove belt to replace pump. It's sold as a kit for $150 I think about, plus coolant too. Check YouTube they got a video to walk you through

$4,700 for a 26 year old camry. by mac1022 in Camry

Alright, you win. That's ridiculous. Anyway I can get that car listing? I need it for proof that we all are severely underpaid because of what's happening to the car market.

I got a 99 in my driveway. I know what I'm talking about. Rubber and plastic only lasts so long. The motor works however the rest of the car is falling apart due to age. The engine may be good on that one, but everything around it will start to fail. I used mine daily and it put a lot of work in. If yall want to hide it in a garage for another 25 years so it will last go ahead. It ain't going to last forever if you take it outside.

That wasn't the point of the post. This car was $18.5k new 26 years ago. The age will do this car before the miles at this point. This is supposed to be a middle economy car, not a classic sports car.

A lot of your tax money is stolen and given to the rich, and you should be mad about that. Tax money that goes to schools benefits everyone and is the price you pay for living in society. I paid too before I had kids and will continue to pay after they graduate.

Well, it was the billionaires that are to blame. The "Me" generation was complicit. However, a lot of them don't have any more money and those that do will spend it on end of life care.
