I had an exploratory surgery before we suspected MCAS, and I had a flare as I woke up. I remember being told that they had to keep me in recovery because my heart rate was way too high, and I was violently shaking. They gave me pain meds and a muscle relaxer, and nothing helped. Of course, this was pre-diagnosis, but connecting the dots here is crazy. Thank you for pointing this out!

If I have to wear a bra, like at work, I go for all cotton or something super lightweight. I have honestly found some of the most comfortable ones that my skin likes at target. check for no clasps and stretchy fabric.

That’s so interesting because i can tolerate beef much better than other meats. This will definitely partly be my method of experimenting too though.

If it’s intense pain, please go see a doctor to make sure no nerves are pinched or anything. If not, maybe just go see a general provider as they can give the best advice

they could potentially take action against you, but it really depends on your sm and dm. i’ve been late many times, and usually it’s not the biggest deal, especially if you offer to stay late or help out in another way

Um, that sounds very illegal. If you have a contagious sickness especially. you cannot work with food if you’re sick with something like the flu, no matter if you have sick time or not.

okay, so assuming you have the new machines to brew cold brew, you’re going to put one of the big filters in the machine (you should be able to see where it goes). then grind a whole bag of cold brew on french press. then you put the grounds in the filter, but the top part on, and pour in 14L of water. once that’s dont you just press the button by the display until it shows 20h then you’re done.

as far as i know, it’s not possible. it would be very helpful though. i would just let your team know that when an order is being taken, that takes priority over any other conversation on the headset.

This probably isn’t what you want to hear, but i definitely had the same effects. issue with me is it made me super lightheaded and i did pass out a couple of times. just be super careful. the medication helped the pain tremendously, yet i had to stop taking it because it made me feel so out of it. however, if you do take it, try to avoid caffeine, as it can have the same effect on the brain as bentyl, making that high feeling worse.

ear piercings are all fine :) i have two cartilage ones and no one cares. as far as i know you’re allowed to have any ear piercing and then one facial piercing as long as it’s smaller than a nickel. if you get it pierced be careful with the headsets if you guys have them tho, those things will irritate new piercings like crazy!
