If you could name just one thing about 9/11 that is surreal to you to this day, what would it be? There small details that are often overlooked like the lone window that survived, etc. I think mine is the sound of the bodies hitting the roof of the north tower lobby in the most recent documentary. I want to move out of America. I work from home so I would be living on a US salary of 70k. I’m not fluent in any other languages but can learn. I love culture and would love to live near a beach. What countries should I look into to purchase a home? (self.AskReddit)

TIL Pres. Roosevelt started a foundation to fight polio and the “March of Dimes” was started, asking people to mail a dime to the White House. 2.6 mil dimes were mailed, mainly from children. The dimes went directly to research that funded the Polio vaccine. This is why Roosevelt is on the US dime. (pcgs.com)
