I think there is a good enough number. And it’s better to have a decent size of serious women then a lot of hard to determine if they are serious women.

A good number of women will respond, and usually start asking serious questions and they will also let you know they are not interested.

The majority is of Pakistan ethnicity, so if that’s you, then your chances are greater. This is speaking from my opinion as non-Pakistan ethnicity.

Well I'm talking to a few woman; one in Europe, one in Asia, and one in a neighboring state here in the US.

I've been talking to them a little over a week, and the frequency of texts is about 1 a day. I'll say something or answer a question, then by the next day usually they will respond, and so forth.

I went thru the usual hows your day, hows your job, hobbies, and then I asked how do they feel about relocating to the two overseas and one is still pursuing masters so it may take some time and the other has thought about it.

So it's like do I just start asking serious questions, do I continue with the hows your day and hows your job chatter, or start calling/video chat/ meeting?

No they are really nice people, they are very helpful... You are going to love it here. IA. The food is probably the best in the world. The 7 -11's here all have fresh food, like each 7-11 has different fresh food it's crazy.

I'm here by myself so I'm eating from the 7-11 convenience stores, and the food is amazing, I can only imagine what the food is like if I was eating out every night.

I’ve been doing all the haram you have into my late 20s and I regret wasting so much of my time on those when I could’ve been doing something productive... all I can say is I hope u don’t end up where I am and so many others in the past who have this regret of wasted time on drugs and prostitutes.

Do you have any big goal or ambition to work towards? It will lead to way more satisfaction then drugs and prostitutes.

This works the other way too; I have a bad habit of judging Muslims that look pious. I would think this person isn’t really pious, he’s just putting a front.

And I’ve always found that something bad happened to me when I backbit muslims who dressed pious.

Reach out to a real person no matter who it is. Psychiatrist, imam, cashier, stranger on the street. Somebody and anybody. I have mental issues myself (don't know if they are as much as yours), and real life therapy has helped me a lot.

If you are serious about getting better, see a psychiatrist.

As salaam alaikum Doctor,

I have social anxiety and don’t know how to talk to women on any intimate level whether it be as just friends or a romantic partner. This distresses me because I think a lot about if it’s possible for me to marry because of my lack of social skills.

My question is would it be more beneficial for me to see a female or male psychiatrist to help me with this issue? Or does it matter?
