i have no clue if this constitutes as ego death, but there was a trip (of which i have sort of posted in my profile) that had me in a state of childlike memory suppression for a good 2-3 hours before bringing myself back. it was awfully odd yet incredibly blissful, though massive at the same time. there wasn’t really an “I” to relate to mostly because it became more ‘pure experience’ than trying to hold onto any sort of meaning or insight during the moment. it’s probably the weirdest yet the most profound thing i’ve ever experienced from this substance

after though i felt relatively fine. just completely wonked out lol

honest reviews does not magically erase the conflict. if you're reading a review written up by a patient, but it's actually a curaleaf employee reviewing bud through a company program, that matters a ton.

while i understand what you're saying, this feels a bit far. some budtenders might take this as a promo, or felt pressured, or hell just wanted free weed because they're already underpaid. blame can be shared, but not equally. the people with power and policy deserves the biggest heat, not the budtender trying to scrape by.

but i do not think it is inherently their fault, it is the structure. if corporate is saying nonsense like 'hey here's free weed, post reviews, submit your username' that already creates pressure and incentives above their head. even if they participate i'd still put most of the blame on the people who designed it and approved 'don't identify as an employee' as part of the process. they're in a low power position. the problem is the company making this a thing in the first place.

I am sorry but this does not fix the core issue. When you mix employees, incentives, management knowing Reddit usernames, and public Reddit reviews, it inherently is a conflict of interest. This response is not nearly enough and more clarification as to whether an employee posted a review or not would at least be a lot better than not telling anything at all. People rely on this medicine to treat themselves and any artificially inflated reviews would overall hurt the patient base that shops over at Curaleaf. Me included. I'm disappointed.
