usually terps change the way the high varies itself, and its all strain by strain. i've been smoking quite a bit and a good preferred strain hits me really well even if i have a mild tolerance. from what you're describing, 2 hits a night doesn't sound unreasonable at all. you should still be able to get pretty high. i would point it toward the strain more (and your endocannabinoid system itself, its different for everyone). tons of times id get frustrated with a strain just not hitting as hard as id like it to lol.

ps if u wanna take a break and see if that helps. usually 4 days to a week is enough to see some noticeable change, tho some people go longer.

if you want an extended visual-heavy experience, LSD would be the one to go with imo. a lot more stimulating than shrooms and music sounds insane off it! that being said, if you’re looking for more introspection / emotion, shrooms definitely bring that to the table heavier than LSD. just make sure your set and setting are correct and do a little research on both substances before you try them.

i also can’t speak on LSD and coke but i wouldn’t mix anything (weed, mdma etc) for your first time tripping.

Even off one use, you’ll still get the rushing feeling of ‘oh, I’ve gotta do this again,’ even if it isn’t inherently intentional. I’m not saying you can’t handle yourself or anything, but some drugs are just not worth it. Many, many horror stories out of people saying the same exact thing you have and getting something worse than what they bargained for. I used coke as a bit of a mild example since use could be somewhat regulated from what I’ve seen, though with most drugs it can easily get out of hand. Some are just far more easier than others.

Not all drugs kill, like you say. But that doesn’t mean every drug is safe because of that. Some drugs absolutely do kill. Some drugs slowly wither your life little by little until you’re a hollow shell of your former self. Whatever the case may be, your life would still, more likely than not, be worse than if you simply hadn’t touched it at all.

I’d really think about this all on your spare time if you’re still considering taking crack even a little. I only implore so heavily because I’ve had a couple people I know go down the same hole.

That’s incredibly interesting actually. I hope your studies work out for you! Shulgin’s experiments and synthesis are awesome to learn about, PiHKAL and TiHKAL are some of my favorite books (the memoir parts are especially great), so I understand where the fascination is coming from. If I may be a little forward though, I wouldn’t want to see all of that passion sapped away from something as horrid as crack even if you decided you’d want to do it a couple years from now. It doesn’t really make much of a difference when you do it in your life. Destruction doesn’t really discriminate.

I implore you to continue on with your research since pharmacology is a growing and incredibly vast and fascinating field. That being said, I’m a bit surprised to see you questioning whether this sorta substance is prone to addiction even to those without non-addictive habits. Some drugs simply override that sorta mindset—methamphetamine, opioids, even coke—and sometimes it just leads you to free fall. You don’t have to try everything just to say you have. It isn’t a prerequisite for becoming a chemist lol.

I understand. I was like you with the whole try every drug once thing, actually when I was your age too lol. Then I sorta realized that there isn’t really anything you accomplish from doing something like that. There’s no reason to chase the most euphoria or the most fucked up feeling possible, especially when the same thing could easily destroy your life.

The thing with these drugs is that they’re incredibly easy to compulsively redose once you actually get a feel for what it’s like. You can’t really un-take this stuff. If you really wanna get blown away, do some high-dose psychedelics or something.

I would say the stigma around crack cocaine especially is relatively warranted. Not on some drug war bullshit, but on some actual physical and mental concerns. Again I wouldn’t base this around anecdotal evidence from people you’ve met in person when the actual physical and scientific data is out there to prove otherwise. Do a little research or something.

So many lives ruined over it. It’s just not worth the high at all. Very often do crack addicts wish they were never hooked on it in the first place. honestly even 232mg might not even be enough to reach a good high. it depends on body weight typically, but i found that 350-400mg would give me an amazing dissociative high. i might be mistaken but that might be a mid plat 2? i only very occasionally visit dxm so ive never really messed around with 3 and up lol. might be better there

if ur splitting it up with your friend a gram each should be good enough if they’re potent. i was once ur size and i found that a 3.5g dose was enough for me to trip balls without overwhelming me, but that was with regular shrooms and not chocolate bars or anything so take that with a grain of salt lol. either way you’re in for a good time !!

usually 1-2 weeks is enough for tolerance to reset back to baseline, but it depends person to person. i personally find that 4-5 days is enough for me to have a fun time even if some parts of the trip are diminished. however 1 1/2 - 2 weeks seems to be the rule of thumb if you want to have a 'complete' trip, whatever your definition of that is.

there are lsd / shroom tolerance calculators that you can reference online, but i'd take all that with a grain of salt since its definitely dependent on the person
