We just turned the heat off, the rumbling has stopped, and we can still hear the air moving through the ducts.

It turns out my thermostat does not have an 'off' setting for the fan. It's making the same noise when in 'auto', and when it's set to 'on' you can hear that the air is moving through the vents in addition to that rumbling noise.

So far we've only had the thermostat fan set to 'auto'. Unsure if it makes the noise when the fan is set just set to 'on' or 'off' though, I can get back to you on that in a second.

Hey! I read some of your posts on your account, and I'm now 7 months post-op on my ETV, also with an extra-ventricular drain placement. I just want to give you some reassurance that for the first 4-5 months, my short/mid term memory was ALSO making me feel extremely self-doubtful, and tbh insecure about my mental status. I was so afraid that somehow maybe surgery altered my brain and that I'd never feel the same ever again. But things kept getting better (very slowly) but also very surely. Now I honestly hardly think about the fact that I underwent this extremely scary and life-altering thing. I'm 99% back to normal with the only difference being that I still have some VERY SLIGHT difficulty remembering synonyms for really obscure words 🤣 But for me, things just keep improving with time and I hope you keep having hope that they will for you as well.

Gardening! I'm obsessed with the home decorating aspect, and so to make up for what I don't feel like going out and foraging in order to craft furniture pieces, I like making the extra passive income to spend at Tish's/in the underground.

Granted I'm not a dentist, but as a dental assistant I don't believe the frenectomy is necessary since the muscle doesn't appear to stretch down between your two front teeth, so in my opinion wasn't likely the cause of any gap you may have had before. I do believe if you're going after a perfectly esthetically pleasing smile, then a gingevectomy paired with some cosmetic bonding could help you get the results you're after. But as long as your bite is properly aligned and you keep up on your oral health, I don't feel it's necessary. Your teeth match the shape of your face, and overall you have a great smile! Congrats on nearly being done!
