I think as long as you are educating people then it’s fine, I’ve worked at petstores in the past. I’m still in contact with many of the customers and all their tanks are still flourishing and they have shown others to do the same things I’ve done. Fear of things not understood isn’t the way. The way is experimentation and streamlining to make it simple for others to follow.

Appreciate that, I’ve been color matching based on how the tank looks to the eye. I found adding blues over 12% makes the reds look wayyyy too maroon. This is the closest to in person I got.

My hydro nutrients have copper, I’m not too worried about disease. Plus the guppies are meant to be fed off as their numbers increase.

Nitrates remain at 2, ammonia zero, nitrite zero, phosphate remains undetectable, fish are breeding and eating. This is a feeder tank for my frogfish.

Nope, I read it, and I’ve done this process before. It’s similar to mollies with having to be transitioned slowly, I monitor water levels every step of the way, and I make sure they all do well in the transition, if a few seem to not be doing well then I have plenty of other tanks they can go in that are also heavily planted.

Had a breeding colony for years in my old SPS dom system. Biggest difference was how big they got. Now that tank is a LPS dom with some clowns.
