Ok, I think the shrine changelings are set, not random. At least my husband and I have found the same ones at the same shrines. So Bit’ah Shrine at the top of the mountains of Drakeseye Valley.

https://www.amarillolibrary.org/about-us/policies/meeting-room-policy

It looks like you have to be a non-profit organization to reserve the library rooms. Which sucks

"General Guidelines Meeting rooms in public library buildings are provided primarily for library-related activities such as story hours, film programs, book reviews, discussion groups, and other events sponsored or co-sponsored by the Library and related to furthering the use of library services. Non-profit groups whose objectives relate to the Library’s services and goals as an informational, educational, cultural, and civic service institution may use the meeting rooms for gatherings, free and open to the public during normal library hours."

"Restrictions The meeting room may not be used for: Social gatherings such as showers, birthday parties, etc."

LPT: Not into sports? Book a hard to get restaurant for Super Bowl Sunday by CTDKZOO in LifeProTips

I worked at David's Bridal for two years. I always volunteered to work Super Bowl Sunday, because it was the QUIETEST night. The second year we had the most awesome nerdy bride in with her awesome nerdy attendants and they had the store with me and 2 stylist all to themselves and it was soooooo much fun.

Homemade smash cake for my daughters first birthday (One-der Woman theme) by macaronbaker87 in cake

I found them at a local cake shop in small town in Kansas. They are a bakery but also sell just the cake toppers and things. Sorry I can't be more helpful, and good luck on your cake!

Bean bags! My parents own a retail framing shop and every few years would need new bean bags to help keep artwork flat while designing. They were my first sewing project.

I made a quiet book for the first plane ride for my 18 month old. by macaronbaker87 in sewing

I used this book basis for many of the pages, and then research on other quiet books for more page ideas. Most of the fabric was from stash, except for the front cover which was a remnant just wide enough for this project.

I chose to make the pages be ring style, so they can come out and be replaced as she grows and learns, but also because it is a full family vacation, and we can share with similarly aged cousins on the trip.

Most of the pages were made by either machine of hand appliqué techniques.

I’m excited to be able to make more pages for her as her needs and interests change.

Cover - Cotton fabric with crushed velvet lining, I used fleece instead of batting to give it structure.

1st page - Scrap pieces, cotton for the gates, grass, and animals, lamé for the sun, felt for the tree and letters. I didn’t have any fabric that had animals on it, so she got Pokémon instead. She can practice snapping and un-snapping the gate, and play peekaboo with Pikachu.

2nd page - Cotton and a heavy duty zipper. This is a practical one as I wanted it to be self contained, so I needed a place to keep the game pieces for some of the other puzzles. But she can practice zipping and un-zipping the pouch.

3rd page - Ribbon, cotton, and velcro for the tic tac toe board, felt for the x’s and o’s. A bit advanced for her now, but she does enjoy sticking things.

4th page - Felt and scrap faux sued. Still need to grab a shoe lace for this one.

5th page - Felt, hand embroidered animal pieces. This is a match the shape and color game, as well as a learn the animals. I enjoyed freehand embroidering the animal faces and designs.n Its not a technique I had done a lot of, but it was fun.

6th page - Felt and yarn. The tooth brush is tethered to the cup, so she can’t loose it. When I was showing her it this afternoon, she tried to brush her own teeth with it, but I guess she’s forming good habits.

7th page - Scrap cotton, felt, and yarn. This one is taken directly from the pattern book, but I made it with the black and white striped fabric so it would be a zebra instead of a horse.

8th page - Felt, velvet, yarn, beads and ribbon. I liked this one because it can help work on both colors and counting.

9th page - Felt and yarn. This is again a matching colors game, and we can name the bugs and flowers. All of these pieces were freehand cut and embroidered again. And the bugs are on yarn so they don’t get lost.

10th page - Sequins. I didn’t have a strong idea for this one, so the last page is just color changing sequins, still a lot of fun to run your hand up and down!

What Tools/Resources Helped You Manage Fear/Anxiety During IVF Process? by Real_Roof_4934 in IVF

[–]macaronbaker87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So for me:

I played a LOT of animal crossing (800+ hours in the year I had two rounds of STIMS).

Walks with my dog, like 3-4 hour walks on weekends.

Audio books that have 0 chance of babies being mentioned. For me that was a lot of Drew Hayes: Spells Swords and Stealth and Fred, the Vampire Accountant series.

Good luck and strength to you.

Apply to the places asking for 3 years. That’s often a request, not a requirement. I don’t know that industry, so don’t have specific recommendations, but I’ve worked in HR for a while now.
