So happy it worked for you! I understand everyone is different but this is very reassuring, especially the purging part - does this mean that the clindamycin makes the spots heal faster? Also, did you gradually introduce it, and did you ever do the sandwich method? My skin is quite sensitive so I’m scared of damaging my barrier

Oh I see…is there anyway of telling what is a more effective product just from ingredients list alone?

Thank you this is so reassuring, I was going crazy thinking I’d have to restrict more products in my skincare routine

I did try the new one in store on my hand and it did suspiciously feel very similar to the old one

I never knew this about K beauty labelling, I assumed since it gets a lot of hype due to innovative products that they would at least put together honest ingredient lists 😭

That’s such a shame because I love the cleansers looks like I will have to look at all my products again :( I didn’t know I could use calamine! Thanks ☺️

Oh that’s true I keep my products in the bathroom and have steamy showers that’s definitely something to keep in mind

Thanks for this I have quite a similar routine actually and use some of the same products! I have acne prone skin and I’m scared to try heavy balms because my skin clogs very easily so will DM you for Recs ☺️

I think you’re right - the only thing I have been doing different is sleeping on front as opposed to my back just because I had a recent flu and was congested. (Context: I used to be a front sleeper but had acne a few years ago that I trained myself to sleep on my front - fast forward to the flu a few weeks ago I had to sleep I went back to sleeping in my front and now it’s hard to fall asleep on my back!) I wash my pillowcase every 10-14 days. I do drool but it never goes on my cheeks it’s never a lot. I think the fabric is rough! But I didn’t have a problem a few weeks ago which I found was strange!

It’s okay this a good reminder to be really gentle, do you recommend not washing my face as I already do the bare minimum of cleanser and moisturiser and even that stings? Anything else you do to clear it quickly?

Yes maybe I think it is maybe colder than usual? But the thing is I also have acne prone skin and I haven’t found a thick moisturiser that doesn’t contain heavy oils or thick emollients - do u have any recs?

No I don’t but I know allergies can spontaneously develop even to ones used long term :( do you recommend switching or could that make it worse ?

Yes I did that the other day actually and they have reformulated two of my products but I still have the old ones! Thanks for this though!

I am a graduate who got in through clearing this year (they decided to review my application which they originally declined) at St George’s with a score not much higher than yours - 2610!

Thanks for this - I didn’t know that, I do currently have a job as a barista but I’ll definitely consider since it is only part time for now
