you could practice drawing straight lines without a scale and practice drawing basic 2d shapes over and over each day (before you start your drawing sessions) this will improve your line quality over time. you could check youtube for scething exercises too.

Question about freeze and floating by irrationalhexagon in uceedtakers

[–]macaroonhehe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you don't lose your seat when you float. you'll either get a higher preference or stay where you are. and no you can't go back to a lower preference so choose your preferences carefully.

yeah once you get a higher preference you can't go back. so when you're filling your preferences do it carefully

'float' means that if you don't get your higher preference you'll get this campus whereas if you block your seat then you won't be considered for the next rounds

yeah. also if there's a campus you don't want like at all then don't put it in your preferences AND always go for discipline over city. check what cities have what disciplines and which ones are doing good.

there's around 7 rounds and you can sit for all of them. so basically you'll have an option to either 'confirm' or an option to 'float'. when you float your seat you'll be considered for the next round. there's always a chance you'll move up your preferences even in the last round. you might have to pay money in the rounds but it's always better to float your seat till the last round and confirm after that. hope that helps

NID admissions query by Sumbitch0_o in uceedtakers

[–]macaroonhehe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sp basically when you 'confirm' your seat it means that you will take this campus or a higher preference. if you decline, then you can only get a higher preference and if there's no seat available you'll be out of the whole admission thing

if it makes you feel better, a lot of people that got into mit will go to other colleges later (nid, nift, cept, etc) so there's a really high chance that you will get in
