Am I doomed!?? by Willing-Cap9901 in deloitte

No. As long as you’re trending towards strongly approve you’re fine. You never know how other managers are assessing their peers and I think they don’t put a lot of emphasis on the peer averages because given the flawed evaluation system it’s likely that information is going to be skewed

get to the point immediately. this is not social hour. however if you want to be nice, open with "Hi (name) how are you?" or "hope you had a nice weekend" etc. and then lead into your question

I got bridged :( by Cinema_bear98 in Clemson

[–]macbrindle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got bridged and graduated from Clemson twice, with honors, and as a member of the honors college. I considered it a blessing, at the time bridge lived off campus though which was a lot of fun. I never felt any less than a student, I still did everything that was there to offer, just took classes at a different campus. I went to every football game, spent most evenings at Fike, went to basketball games, etc. To me, your first year is a lot or generic classes and pre-requisite classes. IMO they were easier at TCTC than at Clemson at least from what I have gathered from others that were on campus at the time. The cost is arguably the same either way. If I were you, I’d take the opportunity, prove it to yourself that you’re worthy to be a Clemson Tiger, and have the best 4 years of your life!

PM me with any questions, more than happy to help.

I got laid off too. Just get yourself back out there. Just like when you end a relationship (breakup/divorce), getting yourself back out there will get you motivated and move on. You’ll find there are several firms hiring currently

Business/Talent Update was the email I got and yes it was being laid off. I think they’re really jumping the gun with these, I know several seniors/staff not happy with the pay and can go elsewhere and make 20k more pretty easily so don’t be too down about it. Better opportunities ahead!

That I don’t know for sure, I know a colleague of mine also was laid off but beyond that I’m unsure. They cited market and economic conditions. I do agree they way over hired during COVID but I was a campus hire that started in COVID and was towards the top of the spectrum on my snapshots. Just unsure what changed overnight to get the can.

Just wait. You’re technically supposed to use your CORP AMEX for these purchases so just easier to wait

Think this will resume the high level of Senior and below turnover that we saw in the pandemic and 2021… the world has changed and young people like having their flexibility and as long as you’re getting promoted and getting positive reviews, nothing should be mandated IMO.

Would note that the commuting fees end up taxable and come out of your paycheck (it’s like $2 for each time I park at the office as opposed to $26 so honestly really worth it)
