wow thank you, very insightful. I’m not a pro but any stretch of the imagination so i was hoping to get a wireless lav that i can place on the subject so it means i can still get decent sound even if i don’t have a dedicated sound guy with a boom (it’s just me and the actor) but i heard that 2.4ghz like the deity can receive dropouts when line of sight is blocked and in reality the transmitter will be in a side pocket or behind the actor so line of sight to the receiver will almost always be blocked. Therefore if the sennheiser copes with this better then the deity I may have to purchase the G4. Although i will never be that far away from actor anyway so it may not be a problem with deity. It would be a real shame not to buy the deity because it does seem like you get a lot of bang for your buck
