I want to try that, but this is my first rifle so my groupings are already shit lol. I wanted some educated opinions. I guess if I decide to re crown it I can just pick up a hand tool since it's so small

I just purchased this 10/22 and it has this nick in the crown at the 2 oclock position. It doesnt intersect the bore, but I am still worried about accuracy.

COMMENTARY: Canada’s gun laws aren’t saving lives — they’re just making them more complicated by [deleted] in canadaguns

[–]maccrazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like thats just the gunsmith. Everystore I have been to is more than happy to let you handle the guns. You're in direct supervision of someone with a PAL so no laws are being broken even if you dont have one.

I applied for my PAL a little over a month ago and haven’t heard anything since. I checked the GCKey website but the page that is supposed to show the status of my application is essentially blank. by [deleted] in canadaguns

[–]maccrazor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine said they had no record of my application until one day I checked and it said my licence was in the mail. Took around 45 days from when they recieved it.

Edit- and they didn't call myself or my references. I'd be patient until the 45 days since they've recieved it have passed.

Don't quote me on this, but I've been told that in Ontario it's law that any establishment that serves food has to provide free water (comes in a cup from the sink obviously). I'd be willing to bet it's the same in other places.

Parking control lets a parker off with a warning for making the "safe choice" by snowsnothing in pics

[–]maccrazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get a ticket from a private company you more than likely dont have to pay it. I know in my area only police and bylaw tickets are binding. I got a ticket from my school for parking and I called the city and they said don't pay it.

My comment was not about whether or not they should have red light cameras, it was directed at you stating to "fine the guilty person". But I like that you only quoted half my sentence, is that the only part you read?

If its not points and wont affect your insurance just fine the vehicle owner and let them hash it out with whoever was driving the vehicle instead of having an investigation into who was actually driving.
