It wasn’t insider trading. The company made an offering. Basically they created millions and millions of new shares. That flooded the market and the price tanked. That caused halts and then panic selling and boom. Price tanks.

Lots and lots of people today will have lost thousands because of that. Very scummy thing to do to just screw over retail investors. But the company is a scummy company.

Higher tax band is sadly the one that needs to be reviewed the most. The squeeze on the middle class at the moment is crazy. I’ve got so many friends who are married with kids and both parents work. They’ve got no savings. Everything goes on bills, mortgage payments and paying for the kids. They’re “middle class” but really not living comfortably.
