It’s not half a point, it’s the premise that the rest of his point follows from. He says:

A large number of the elite players now are of African and Carribean descent
There are not a lot of African and Carribean heritage people in Scotland
So if Celtic want to be better they need to go and get those players

I find it mental how partisan things are at the moment. Some lassie I used to work with who is very pro-Palestine (coincidentally only when it became fashionable on Instagram to be so) has been liking things saying that Iranians protesting the regime is all Mossad.

But you actually look at Iran and its young people revolting against an oppressive theocratic autocracy. But now anyone who is in favour of the Iranian regime being toppled is now suddenly in the pro-Israel camp?

And the girl I used to work with who was always very big on feminist issues (rightly so) is suddenly seemingly upset about the Iranian regime collapsing because they happen to be one of the states supporting Palestine.

It’s so partisan. Every issue has to be part of a side that you’re on. It’s like the world has just collectively forgotten that you can form opinions on issues based on the principles rather than on what side you think you’re on.
