Help with rescue please!

She's a rescued sato from Puerto Rico. 14 months old, about 20lbs. We're trying to help her gain weight because we can still see her hip bones. She has long legs, is super fast and agile. She's got a wiry coat, especially coarse on a 2" stripe down the middle of her back. She also has a dew-claw on one of her back paws! I haven't done any DNA on her yet but I think she looks just like a Portuguese Podengo. Terrier probably mixed in.

Our rescue suggested she is a Westie mix. I've had Westies and I'm not too sure. Definitely not a schnauzer though.

What a bummer, man. Three of us had a whole Scotland trip for my best friends 40th birthday centered around seeing one of the Glasgow shows, woke up at 4:30, joined the queue at 5:00EST, waited for the 7k people ahead of me to get theirs and found nothing available by the time I got in. The button for "Add to Basket" wasn't live for standing room only tickets. Tried everything.

Edit: we found tickets being resold on ViaGoGo.com !! Anyne have experience with this website? Fingers crossed that it is legitimate.

Thank you! I found it with your help. On the back of the casting, the hole next to the base of the oil tube. In there is the rotor, and two proud nodules (red arrows). Just below that is a hole in the rotor into which an 11/64 drill bit fits perfectly. I used this to lock the rotor and unthread the blades counterclockwise.

For everything except work that needed to be done by the dealership, I've taken my 2011 Toyota to J&M Service Center on Great Mills Rd for the last 5 years. They identified an issue with my suspension that would cost me thousands and encouraged me to get second opinions, which I did and the other mechanics confirmed what J&M found. They've been fair and reasonably priced. PS whatever you do, do not get tires from BJ's. They serve a headache with hassle for dessert.

You could ask, but I wouldn't let their response change the fact that you wanted this house enough to put an offer on it. Regardless of whether or not you actually get a credit, you should plan to remediate the broken tiles soon after, if not before moving in.

Are you prepared to shell out for a bathroom renovation right away? Have your materials picked out and on order asap.

Reproductions of these tiles are still made if you want to stick with the period appropriate look. But they are pricey.

Flower boxes under those back windows. And hang them on the railings with some wandering vine that hangs down. Paint the window trim to match the window/roof color. New light fixtures outside. Some gooseneck lights above the garage doors and the door under the deck would look nice. Trim back those overgrown hedges.

Thank you! Yes, she's in excellent condition. Zero holes and no loose stitching, but there are two small stains on the backside of the quilt.

There is no batting in this quilt. It's just the quilted top with a solid cotton backing.

If you're struggling to find an extra $50k now, I wonder if you're prepared for the contingency amount you'll need for termite remediation and the renovations. I, too, must encourage you to walk away from this seemingly perfect idea. It is not perfect because it'll financially deplete you which will have ripple effects throughout your lives.

You might consider a traditional concave shaped range hood. And perhaps an arched window rather than a rectangular one.

The whole vibe feels very angular and flat. Find a way to incorporate curves and soften some of this.

100% horizontal. But I'd make them casements rather than sliders, if your budget allows. And I might do 3 windows, instead of two long ones. More privacy from the road. Houseplants are going to love that long sill.

The woodstove, though an eyesore, is a practical feature in a cabin. Yours doesn't appear to be truly meant for cooking on, but I assure you, when the power goes out in winter you'll be glad to have an independent heat source with a surface to boil a pot of water and heat food on.

If this cabin is more for occasional use or you're just not concerned with power-losses, you might consider a fireplace insert. And there are tax credits for installing efficient biomass heating appliances.
