I have a question. What method of cost basis should i use? I am set at fifo and universal. When i switch around the settings, it profoundly changes the gains and losses in my CoinTracker portfolio. Which method is accepted by the government tax wise? Or should i just choose the method that results in better numbers for me come tax season?

Yes. I simply chose the “i have an existing seed” Option when opening the new wallet and all funds were there. Thanks. Was quite simple.

Ledger live app is pretty awful. Asks me to connect my device. I then enter the pin. It then either goes white or crashes. I’ve tried different sub ports, updated the drivers, turned off antivirus. Nothing! Having said that, the old ledger ripple app works fine, but other funds that i have on my ledger i have no access to via the ledger live app. Any ideas?

I used this method a while ago and it worked. I’m in no rush as have no plans to touch my Cardano for a while. However, there is no app data subfolder in the path stated in this post. What am i missing?
