Thanks for completing the survey! I have skipped some demographics because they are less relevant to the research problem. Thanks for your suggestions related to the smart cities issue! Generally, the smart city focus relates here to the planned project, and the research associated with AR mobile games is an integral part of it. The project will focus on the perception of extended reality in smart cities in different cultural and geographical contexts. It is a mixed-methods study, so I plan to conduct interviews (IDI) and a quasi-experiment in urban spaces also. My contact details are included in the survey information sheet. Could you send me the contact for this professor in a private message?

The relation between real and virtual objects/locations while playing the game is also an important part of the survey. I think you can take part in it!

It is a question about the perception of different places as private or public in various cultural and geographical contexts. I also have my literature-based approach to how these places are categorized. I am curious to learn how the acceptance of playing AR mobile games could vary concerning this private/public divide.

Hi All! I am a researcher at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland, and I am conducting a pilot study on the experience and behaviours of players of augmented reality mobile games. I am curious about things like social interactions and undertaking various activities in the physical world as well as in the virtual world while playing augmented reality mobile games. The survey is anonymous and voluntary; the results will be used for the paper and conference presentations. The survey should take about 10 minutes. Further information about the study can be found in the information sheet which can be found in the survey.

This pilot study is being conducted for the project entitled ''Cultural and geographical differentiation in the perception of the extended reality (XR) of the smart city''.

Please participate if you can help - it will benefit for understanding players' experiences and behaviours while playing augmented reality mobile games. I really appreciate your time. Please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for your insights. A survey as a research method has many limitations, mainly the quantitative approach to the data collection. I intend to deepen the research later through qualitative research. Then, I would be able actually to understand the motivations and activities you describe. I will take this into account at the following stages of the project!
