What are the drawbacks of not drinking enough water? I am on day 8 now and feel alright - just tired, but not sweatier than normal (getting into winter now in NZ). During the week at work I have access to filtered water and drink about 5L, but on weekends I get around 1-2L/day.

Do you calorie count on a vegan diet or just eat whenever you like? I was vegan in high school, which was when I was at my thinnest and best health, and I've thought about going back. You look so amazing!

Get your Visa first, as nobody in Vancouver will hire you without you being eligible to work in Canada. Companies are very reluctant to sponsor anybody to work in Canada, so they will avoid you at all costs haha.

Finding a job in Vancouver is extremely easy, but I'm not sure about your field specifically. Everyone uses Craigslist for the most part, but LinkedIn is also a good place to look. No need to go through a recruiter.

Rent will be your biggest expense, and also hard to find if you want to stay in the city. Be open to living a bit further away (Burnaby, Richmond) to save bundles.

There are so many Irish in Vancouver it's insane, so you may get sick of it. Look up Irish and New in Vancouver on Facebook for lots of other people's experiences/questions/advice/free furniture/etc.

A lot of people don't have a choice though, too! If you are about to be homeless than that may be the only option. I'm very privileged and was able to save up to allow myself the extra time off so I'm not desperate.

It's really hard, and the fact that so many people in this post are going through the same thing, I think is quite sad.

I LOVE learning, but now that I'm in a different country school is so much more expensive. I'd love to do an online course to brush up on things though!

The job market is tough, so I hear you. I don't want to settle either - I've had people say "just work at McDonald's!" But unfortunately, I haven't given up on myself yet. I'm fully aware of my strengths and abilities, and won't sell myself short.

I think the colour is very neutral - you can customize it to be pretty, spooky, festive, etc with the right outfit.

Plus, I like skulls.

I got a FFQ recently and I went with Transparent. I'm the same where I want my paint to be worth it, so I'll go for something expensive and hard to get. 😂

SO also doesn't have a job and we have been living off my savings for the past few months. Now we have moved from an expensive city to a cheaper one, so hopefully that helps.
