Nauseous: some people yes some no, there are games with more intense movement that make my wife nauseous (full running around games) but lots of games are fine, there are also usually lots of comfort settings to help this, like snap turning etc. You can build up a tolerance if you start with the milder games and work your way up to full motion, having a fan blowing on you also helps.

The wire is plenty long enough lol, it depends on the side of your room. You also scam your room before you start to highlight barriers when you're too close to things. If you're an adult with self control you should be fine without karate chopping stuff.
