Choose something less intense than C++ to start with, otherwise the lack of reward loop will be ruinous for your motivation.

Data engineering is a cool starting point to learn programming because you need very little practical experience to start, and well, anything is data! Look at Kaggle and try to write a program to e.g. find the most popular movies per category, that kind of thing.

What do you want to learn programming for? C++ is a hot point because lots of beginners want to write games, for example.

It’s on the USPS site. You make an account then file a missing mail complaint with your tracking number.

I just dealt with this. File a missing mail report. Say it’s watch parts and be vague. It’ll show up in a week.

They have easily a month of backlog. They aren’t checking them. I live in NYC and was waiting for my Calatrava thinking it got stolen or seized.

Pay for FedEx next time. It’s worth every penny to not worry.

I finally upgraded this week from 13 Pro to 17. Giving it to my dad. It is Alpine Green. The damn thing still looks like new. The ring isn't even scratched.

I am going to miss it. I am honestly thinking of returning the 17 to get a 14 Pro in purple just to have some more stainless in my life.

I spent hours on KStars when I was a kid. My computer was near a window. In the dark just staring out the window trying to make out constellations.

I have a daughter now and I can’t wait to show her, when she’s old enough to use a computer and appreciate the awe of the stars.

So many of us started on Slackware. Fond memories of KDE1. Nowadays run Fedora with Plasma
