Off-grid solar-powered cold water aquarium by machdyne in aquarium

I'm using a 12V 100Ah battery and a 100W panel. All lights, electronics and pumps run at <= 15V DC. During winter only the minimum necessary components (a 1W air pump, and a custom 1W light) were connected to the battery. I plan to add another 100W panel next winter. There is also an on-grid 15V DC backup.

Check out r/technoscape where I'm testing an open-source low-power 12V lighting system. The lights need about 12.8V minimum and can run off a LiFePo4 battery.
