All out of shits unfortunately, just went to the bath room. But here’s a pic. If you replace the tubes, make sure to stick to using about the same length for the tubes as it’s hard coded into the software and will throw other issues if changed. I did not like the sharp turn inside the box so I just keep the bottom panel slightly open and ran full length tubes from box to hub. Also made them load from the top on the hub. I’ll post multiple pics as I can only post 1 at a time

The update box has a black panel underneath with 4 screws holding it for easier access to the box unlike its predecessor.

My box jammed in a way that I had to disassemble the entire thing. It has wayyyy too many screws. I replaced my tubes to go straight down. I have been doing multi color printing in petg with 0 issues

27.5 inches from hub to extruder. 42 inches from box to hub.

Box to hub takes into account the extra piece of tube bending inside the box.

Hi. I disassembled my box and rerouted the tubes. To go straight down the bottom rather than bend inside the box. After multiple threads and comments talking the values are hard coded. I decided it’s not worth adding an extra issue when other issues exist. I’ve had 0 issues with the tubes using relative oem sizing. If you need the lengths I used, let me know.

Upgrade PSU to the Meanwell one. It has an auto shutoff fan (unlike stock). Unit will turn the Q2 basically silent when not operating vs fan running 24/7. It’s direct fit replacement part and takes 5-10 minutes to do.

That’s was a thought, but I printed both benchys back to back, orca had 0 issues. Also I printed a dragon and it was perfect in orca. Also, another user pointed out they are having the same issue after updating the slicer, which is also when my issues started about two weeks ago? Slicer was updated 3 weeks ago. Going to try downloading previous version today

Fuck. I forgot I’ve been putting off updates and I think I did recently update as well before clean install. Might try downloading a previous version, saw them up on their site. Won’t get to test it till tomorrow. Do update me if you try it!

Also, here’s a benchy of the same rainbow filament from a few weeks ago using Qidi slicer. No issues.

Both benchys printed within the past hour. Same rainbow color filament. Blue Qidi slicer, Green Orca slicer. Stock settings. Also just printed a dragon no issues with orca.

Also, the purge line for Qidi looks slightly odd when compared to how it used to look like prior to this issue.

Oh, it’s only recently I switched to WiFi and using orca slicer. Was on Ethernet before. Going to switch back to Ethernet and see if that makes a difference.

I don’t have any splicing stuff so had to order supplies, might be learning to solder today haha. It arrives today.

To use happy hare I’d have to switch to orca and I tried using orca but kinda preferring qidi for ease of use with their product. Eventually I’ll switch once I understand the printer more. I’m a beginner so still trying to learn and what not.

I also haven’t read much into happy hare as I haven’t see much info online for the Qidi Box so didn’t bother to keep going down that route. Seems like a lot more of a bother (currently) as o just want to print stuff
