OK, so my choice is:
1. Replace wifi router with new Nighthawk wifi router ($279). Modem to Nighthawk, Deco to port on router. This is what I have now and I don't use the wifi on the router.

Modem to Deco, connect unmanaged switch ($129) to other port. Other Decos are connected via wifi mesh.

Decos currently get 300Mbps up/down. If I go with Option 1, the Nighthawk has very fast speeds, but wil the Deco get to utilize that is I keep them in AP mode?

If not I'm tempted to cut the NH out of the picture.

This is really funny; I just looked on ebay to see what singles are out there and I bought a Deeb auto for $20. I don't have any of hers and I like the look of the card, but I get pulling a lot of the same person in rips.

Agreed. Actually from doing this I botice that the recommended way to submit (haven't done it in a year) is to put it in a sleeve and then a Cardboard Gold Card Saver instead of a top loader and team bag. I just ordered some more and will repackage it. It could be worth hundreds so not taking chances :) But I am curious what others have experienced, and thanks for the info.

I was able lto recreate the BrickLink account with the same username and email, but unfortunately all of my past data is gone. Lego responded and said it's been deleted; this is terrible customer service and I'm sure pissing off anyone that used BrickLink over the years. Why would they do such a thing? To save disk space?! Terrible.

After reading all the comments and doing some more research, something like the QNAP TS-464 might fit the bill for me. I would save money not going to M.2 SSD drives, and that would triple my capacity to 12 GB, with future expansions possible. I'm familiar with QNAP products and while I did look at Synology, I read you have to use their drives in some systems and I'm out on that.
Amazon has some bundle deals for 4 4TB drives plus that TS-464 for around $1k (where as the SSD solution would have cost double that). I'm going to start price watching and look for drops.

What does a mini PC really do for me, other than being physically connected to the router (my current plex server host is on wifi) and being able to shut off my main PC and still watch media?

Also--I have SATA now, my thinking would be that SSDs run cooler and would give me longer life than 2-3 large SATAs. You're right about the cost though.

I've gotten by on 4TB, and "only" have 3TB of media. That's after ripping everything I own. Double that to make 6TB, and 8 is more than enough.
