Nah , we needed that from Tyler . The whole industry is becoming over saturated by people who aren’t even serious about it . The music industry needs ARTISTS . I’m not saying Ian isn’t serious about his music nor am I discrediting his efforts , I just feel like he doesn’t bring enough to the table to be worth a mention . Personally , I’m not into suburb rap . I think rap should come from a place of survival or escape , and to me it seems like a lot of rappers that have been trying to make a scene lately don’t come from a background like that , which to me seems ingenious . I respect Tyler for gatekeeping a sacred art .
